queue depth) and is so in many cases more than 2 times fastercompared with DirectSAN backup methods

Veeam access the FlashCopy Snapshots directly to read data withoutto mount the FlashCopies to a VMware host. This allow Veeam topreserve and use the VMware Change Block Tracking informationstogether with Incremental Forever backups. This is up to 10x fastercopared with mounting the volume to a VMware host (includingreregister VMs).

Storage Latency Control keeps an eye on the Datastore Latency andreduce Backup speed if Applications will be affected with the extra load produced by the backup.
