RGB:

An RGB image has three components: red,

green, and blue.

GRAY SCALE:

A grayscale image has just one component.

BINARY IMAGE:

A binary image is a digital image that has

only two possible values for each pixel. Typically the

two colour's used for a binary image are black and

white though any two colour's can be used.
