One of the emphases of the current RI president
is literacy ie to provide education for children of
the world. Every child has the right to attend school
in a happy and conducive and environment. Only
with education can the poverty chain be broken
and children grow up to realize their dreams.

This was part of the message spoken by RI President DK Lee at
the Intercity Meet at Singapore last Friday. It was a privilege to
hear him speak in person. It was indeed a memorable night for the
great opportunity to meet and shake the hands of both the RIPresident and the RI first lady. It was equally exciting to hear MM
Lee Kuan Yew speak after accepting the RI Award Of Honour. You
can say a dream come true for yours truly.
Know your blessings, cherish them and sow more blessings.

A GUIDE TO DAILY LIVING
Before doing the things we want to do, consider first, the precept of the
guide. Ask yourself these 4 questionsand act upon them:
First : Have I spent some time to self examination?
Second : Have I spent quality time with my family?
Third : Have I given my best to my work?
Fourth : Have I given some time to someone near and far?
