CELESTVAL CRUISES ANNOUNCES EXTENDED 2019 AND NEW 2020 ITINERARIES

INCLUDING SEVEN NEW PORTS OF CALL

� 7-Day Eclectic Cruises Call at Istanbul, Canakkale and Volos � 7-Day 3 Continents Cruise Sails to Egypt, Israel and Turkey

Celestyal Cruises is pleased to announce its extended 2019 and new 2020 itineraries. In 2019 Celestyal Cruises will extend its season into December and return to Istanbul for the first time since 2016 with its new 7-Day Eclectic Aegean itinerary, which sails six departures from 21st October 2019 through 25th November 2019 inclusive.

This “eclectic’ cruise includes an overnight stay in Istanbul and calls at Volos, Greece, for excursions to the stunning mountains of Meteora, and to Canakkale, Turkey, for excursions to Troy and Gallipoli. The 7-Day Eclectic Aegean will also visit Heraklion and Santorini and, during its call at Mykonos, will depart at 2am so passengers can fully enjoy the nightlife of this cosmopolitan island.

Celestyal Cruises is also pleased to announce the launch of our 7-day “3 Continents” cruises in 2019, with five cruises in December 2019; the first departs from Piraeus on 2 December, while the fifth and final cruise sails from Piraeus on 30th December. The 3 Continents cruise calls at Alexandria and Port Said, Egypt; Ashdod, Israel; Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey; Limassol, Cyprus, and Rhodes. Shore excursions at each of these ports will give passengers an authentic insight into the incredible history and culture of these storied destinations.

All itineraries are now open for bookings. For 2020 Celestyal Cruises continues its well-established 3 and 4-Day Iconic cruises and further strengthens its 7-day itineraries by offering a variety of choices to new and returning passengers, such as:

1) The Eclectic Cruise with sailings sail from 4th April 2020 until the 9th May, and with a second series of cruises beginning on 5th September through to the end of October 2020.

2) The Idyllic Aegean cruises from 16th May through 29th August 2020.

3) The 3 Continents cruise will sail from 29th February through 28th March and 31st October through 26th December 2020.

Istanbul One of the world’s great cities, home to Byzantine and Ottoman architectural jewels such as Hagia Sofia, the Greek Patriarchate, the lovely fountain and gardens of Sultanahmet Square and the incredible Grand Bazaar (61 covered streets!). It’s a feast for the senses, and we’re delighted to be bringing passengers back to this magical city. Celestyal Cruises will offer half-day tours, full-day tours and night tours in Istanbul, with each excursion organized to allow time for shopping.

Ashdod, Israel The country’s largest port nearly equidistant from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. From here, the gateway to the Holy Land, Celestyal Cruises passengers can enjoy excursions to Bethlehem, to Jerusalem and to the Dead Sea.

Canakkale, Turkey Home to two of history’s most legendary battlefields, Troy and Gallipoli. Canakkale occupies both sides of the Dardanelles Strait, which connects Europe and Asia and the Aegean and Marmara Seas. It was the centre of the Trojan civilization. It is also home to the Gallipoli Peninsula, where ANZAC forces battled the Turkish Army during World War I.

Limassol, Cyprus The island’s largest port and a lively beach town. Cyprus is home to more than 10 millennia of history, and fascinating shore excursions on its shores include a tour of the wine villages in the golden foothills of the Troodos Mountains, north of Limassol, and excursions to the ancient city of Pafos, which include the Tomb of the Kings and beautiful Pafos harbour.

Alexandria and Port Said, Egypt North of Cairo, are the country’s main harbours. Celestyal Cruises passengers will have a chance to enjoy fascinating full-day excursions to Cairo to visit the massive Cairo Museum and the Pyramids at Giza, which is also the site of the Sphinx.

Volos, Greece Between Athens and Thessaloniki, is the gateway to Meteora, one of the most breathtaking locales in Greece, where early Christians built monasteries atop stunning vertical cliffs. Excursions here will inspire and mesmerize Celestyal Cruises passengers who choose to visit this exquisite, one-of-a-kind landscape and pilgrimage site.
