Created by dreamers seeking to make a difference

After spending a year volunteering in West Africa aboard the Mercy Ship Anastasis, Sozo co-founder Monte Regier returned home inspired to bring his new found experience and knowledge to local communities in need.

Co-founder Martin Barrett’s story began closer to home. As a longtime winery owner and leader of multiple nonprofit groups, starting Sozo Friends with Monte seemed to be a perfect pairing.

The two devised a plan and reached out to their network in the wine and nonprofit industries to create the groundwork that has become Sozo World Changers.

Sozo Mouvedre 2009 The spicy Sozo Mouvedre is blended with Syrah to create the aromas and flavors of blackberry, currant, pepper and smoke with a hint of vanilla. A bold finish, pairs well with red meat or herbed poultry.
