there are lots of ways to participate - but our favorite way is volunteering. There are loads of ways to volunteer at the event, including the amazing teams listed here:

The Gate handles all camp, art, fire, electric vehicle, and generator check ins that have been registered before the event. Gate also checks tickets and provides wristbands and waivers.world outside of the gate!

Gate

Greeters welcome participants with a wealth of affection and information in the realm of theme camps, activities, land orientation, volunteer sign up, and other knowledge to get you started. Step out of your car and give them a hug! They are ready to welcome you home.

Greeters

These orange vested heroes will work closely with the rest of the site team to make sure your parking experience is like none else. They help you get around the property, to and from the lot, and off the land. They are also vital in case of emergencies!

Parking/Transportation

Wuut! There are magical fairies?? These guardians assist your Leave No Trace efforts to protect the land and reorient Matter Out Of Place (MOOP). Don’t have the MOOP Fairies hunt you down!

Earth Fairies

Rangers are mobile sources of event information, conflict resolution, and participant assistance. They are NOT police or law enforcement. We encourage you to report incendent to rangers if they arise. Rangers are the event’s helping hands. Be nice to them!

Rangers

Sanctuary Is everything getting to be a little too much? Are you disoriented or in other distress? Fatigued? Sanctuary consists of listener trained volunteers able to navigate challenging emotional psychic states so you get the most out of your experience.go visit them at HQ. Medical is for First Aid ONLY.

Fire An important part of burning things is to make sure they don’t burn you or other things unintentionally. The fire team monitors camp fires, the effigy burn, and the other fire effects and performances.

Guardians Stationed at key points along the edge of the property, Guardians keep you and the event safe from the big bad world outside of the gate!

Theme camps are a great way to showcase art and bring like minded individuals together.

Let us know what you want to plan to do so you can share it with all your new friends. We definitely want people to experience your camp. Be sure to tell Greeters when you arrive!

We would like to be sure that your art gets a respectable home that makes the event safe and enjoyable for everyone. If you don’t plan on containing it in your camp footprint, let your Greeters or Rangers know, so they can help you with last minute placement. Don’t assume a space is empty!

RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBORSIf anyone becomes disruptive or threatening in any way, the organizers reserve the right to evict them from the premises.

Grounds for evictions are VERY SERIOUS MATTERS and include:• Bringing fireworks• Having a gun• Assault or threatening behavior

• Trespassing (into the event or neighboring properties)• Unlicensed animals • Theft

• Destruction of property or art• Taking photos withoutpermission• Failing to ask consent

YOU MUST HAVE CONSENT FROM EVERYONE IN A PHOTO BEFORE TAKING ONE. Photography without consent is an ejectable offense.

POISON IVY!

ew.

ANTS!MOSQUITOES! VENOMOUS

SNAKES??

The woods can be a dangerous place. Texas is full of furry woodland creatures that may or may not be friendly. These woods are home to a lot more than your urban landscape! Leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone.

Fire arts can be nasty and leave stupid welts! Treat carefully.

When in doubt - go see a medic!

Use cinnamon to deter them from your camp’s food!

Poison ivy oil spreads really

easily.

Take off your shoes OUTSIDE of your tent and other’s

common areas to prevent spread.

Danger-noodles abound!

This is Texas in spring. Bring bug spray!!

There is no

lifeguard on duty

at the ponds;

swim at your own risk.

“LEAVES OF 3 - LET IT BE!”

be careful, hippies

This year’s logo is a symbol that was traditionally used to ward off trolls and fairies when made of iron. When inverted and made of of something other than iron, this symbol protects trolls and fairies from humans.
