Mr. PVN Raju stated in his Legal Notice dated March 12, 2013, the above lands did not generate any income through 1982. If his claim were true, his so-called son Ravi Penmetsa paid donation to secure admission into Medicine – 6 years of medical education expenses – marriage expenses in Chennai in 1982 – international travel expenses to appear for ECFMG exam and to pursue MD in USA, all these expenses must have come from disposing of most or if not, all of his 10 acres of land.

Mr. PVN Raju asserted in his Legal Notice that Mrs. Durga had 10 acres of land and Rs.15, 000/- cash in 1975. It only follows that Mrs. Durga is the majority owner of Gland Pharma and worth at least twice as much as Ravi Penmetsa given his family has been enjoying luxurious life style afforded by Gland Pharma since his return from US in October, 1990. The ‘no income claim’ of PVN Raju behooves us to reflect on how PVN Raju and family may have survived for seven years as an employee (with equity provided by his friends and children’s assets) managing two small scale loss making businesses(for lack of adequate raw materials) – Gland Chemicals(promoted in 1974) and Gland Pharma(promoted in 1978).

Competitive Heparin manufacture needs organized large scale hog/cow slaughter and India lacks such facilities even today. To improve odds of Gland Chemicals survival, Gland Pharma was promoted in 1978 as part of forward integration strategy, to manufacture Heparin Sodium Injections and to market the same India wide. Durga’s land was sold in two phases – first 2.76 acres at the time of Gland Pharma promotion and remaining 7.24 acres in 1982 to support Heparin Market development and to pay for courtesan son’s marriage while her land ownership remained in the name of (Survey Numbers: 88/1, 88/3, 115/1, and 119/2) Mrs. P.Suryakantham – mother of PVN - contrary to Legal Notice claim.

Mrs. Durga being a responsible daughter, gifted her share of land and cash to restore some dignity to PVN family in January 1977 at the suggestion of her husband. Hence, neither she nor her husband inquired in over 37 years what Mr. PVN Raju did with his daughter’s love of the family. They simply gifted to a family in financial distress and Sagi family had no return expectations from the gift. Apparently in January 1991, Mr. PVN Raju and Ravi Penmetsa

decided to bury ‘responsibility for family shared by Mrs. Durga’ and indirectly, ‘real origins of Gland Pharma’ in Kothapeta Naxal infested waste lands for reasons best known only to them.

Dr. Raju Sagi reminded Mr. PVN Raju twice that the land and cash were gifted to a family in financial distress. Mr.PVN Raju demanded (in his own hand) that every business transaction generates a document and he would like to have a copy of the document supporting our verbal contract of gift. My father on my 2011 visit to India called me in to his office and gave me a folder of documents telling me that “20 acres of Narspur lands and couple of flats along with as many sites is the best I can do for you” and my son Ravi Penmetsa earned the two businesses and everything else. I demanded to know what had happened to my inheritance of 10 acres and gifts of Rs. 15, 000/- and how, Mr. PVN Raju a pauper in 1975 came to earn Kothapeta lands, flats and sites to be able to gift them to me and my children. I never gave permission to this swindler to sell my inheritance, to appropriate my cash gifts and stretched my hand begging for table craps from a hired hand. Why would any daughter of substance accept gifts from a confirmed swindler of her own lands and cash?

Only a demented PVN Raju after telling his daughter in 2011 that the 25 acres he bought in 1982(sociopath lie, he bought 21 acres in 1991 without her permission following the return of his son) had generated ‘no income’ and would go ahead transfer 25 more acres by 2013 and tell her that she now has 45 acres of high valued Mango garden – another sociopath lie. I don’t know about India but in US, people out of their minds would receive proper psychiatric care in mental institutions. Obviously, In India such men are highly valued and lead businesses such as Gland Pharma as Chairmen for over 30 years.

Dr. Sagi Raju has yet to receive one communication or one paise on his investment of 250 Gland Pharma shares (Rs.25,000) in 1981. His share certificates were signed by both A.Pavan Kumar Reddy and PVN Raju. The same story with Mrs. Durga’s 1,000 shares gifted to her in May 1991 following Ravi’s return. Why following his illegitimate son’s return? Complaint filed with Illinois Attorney General’s Office in 2011 found its way into Gland Pharma Chairman’s “Hate e-mails Folder” but still not a word about no dividend in over 34 years. Subsequently SEBI advised us to file a complaint with them. Attorney General’s Office suggested to file a case in the Local County Court and let wheels of justice deal with Gland Pharma Scamming American citizens. Sadly, Founding Promoter Families of both Gland Chemicals as well as Gland Pharma were victimized by the same scam.

Mr. PVN Raju, shed light on your motivation to pay Mrs. Durga $20,000/- in cash as a bribe for accepting under duress Advocate and Rtd. Justice PRK

And you arranged a cash carrier for her to carry $10,000/- of the cash to US. Soon after Mrs. Durga’s return to USA, can you explain why she attempted to deposit ONLY $2,000 on February 8, 2014 and ONE Hundred dollar bill turned out to be counterfeit? Bank of America filed a counterfeit currency report with US Secret Service and the bank identified rightly Mr. PVN Raju as the source of the counterfeit note. You were copied on a cautionary e-mail not to toy with US Secret Service and to advise your daughter to leave the remaining $18,000 as it is until legal advice regarding the approach to follow is obtained. Yet, you, your other daughter and her money carrier friend got involved again and washed . . . . . . . . . Obviously, you restarted negotiations with Mrs. Durga for the THIRD time from the beginning with help from Rtd. Judge PRK Raju. On May 21, 1991 Land Survey Nos 515 and 516 containing little over 21 acres were registered to Mrs.Durga located in Kothapet village, Ratanpur panchayat, Shivampet Mandal, Medak District, Telangana. Gland Pharma shares amounting to table scraps were assigned to the name of Mrs.Durga in May, 1991.

This sequence of events begs the question what was the reason for Mr.PVN Raju to consult his son regarding daughter’s investments, properties and cash reserves? Is it because, Ravi Penmetsa formulated a SWINDLE plan following his return to India and PVN obliged and agreed to be the fall guy?

And Mr. Shetty points out that Gland Pharma rightfully belongs to Mrs. Durga.
