Gates Participates in IFEX 2011 at Chandigarh
Three Customer Meets were organized near Jodhpur for Rig Owners on 5th Oct at Onsiya & Pinji Ki Dhani and on 6th Oct at Surpura. Our Authorised Distributor M/s Radhey Shyam Enterprises, Jodhpur organized this event along with Gates.
The Govt. of Rajasthan had declared Onsiya as Black Zone for the last two years. Installation of new water borewells had been completely banned as the water level had gone down drastically. Owing to decent monsoons last year, the Govt. gave a one-time permission for about 45 days to farmers for installing borewells. This created a lot of buzz amongst the farmers & many decided to install tube-wells in the allotted time frame. There was a flutter of activity going on with atleast 35 -40 water well drilling machines working day & night in that zone. Gates took the initiative on this occasion, to conduct a Rig Owners Meet in the locality. Around 15-20 Rig Owners were invited to a common site for a presentation on Gates Products. Three meets were organized in these two days at three different sites. The importance of using quality products was explained to these customers as many of them were using local products.
Gates India has specially developed RIG HOSE, a product suitable for the Rig Applications. Advantages of the product were explained by our team members Mr. Dinesh Sharma, Regional Manager (North) & Mr. Lokesh Joshi, Area Manager (Rajasthan).
Customers were also made aware of other products like Gates Global Spiral Hoses & Fittings. The event generated good response from the customers as they had not experienced this kind of interaction before.

A Customer Meet was organized at Aurangabad, Maharashtra in Oct-2010 wherein most of the reputed Aftermarket Dealers & Institutional Customers attended the Meet. Our Authorized Distributor at Aurangabad, M/s Deva Hose Pvt. Ltd. helped in organizing and also in making this event successful.
Gates displayed its latest launch products & solutions to the esteemed gathering. Mr. R. Rajasekhar, Manager (Business Development) and Mr Shekhar K Shetty, Regional Manager (West), presented the Gates offering, New launches & complete Service solutions to the Customers. During the Question and Answer Open House session audience appreciated the effort and there were keen enquiries about the USPs, features and benefits of the Gates Range from their side which were well answered by the Gates officials.
The response to the meet was very encouraging and was followed by Cocktails and Dinner.

A dealers seminar was conducted at Hotel Mercy in Kochi in December, 2011. This was attended by around 25 Assemblers from across the state of Kerala. The seminar was organized by our Authorized Distributor M/s Indus Trade Links based at Ernakulam.
A very detailed & interactive technical presentation was made to the customers on the entire range of Gates products. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Raj Iyer, Regional Manager (South) This was followed by the interactive question & answer session.
