The central theme of the international seminar is Ayurveda in Public Health which will focus on the strengths

of Ayurveda in public health in the context of growing burden of new age communicable diseases.Even though Ayurveda is mainly considered as personalized medicine, the concept of janapadodhwamsa‐

roga (epidemics) is also given due importance by the acharyas. It took many centuries for Public health to

emerge as an important component of mainstream medicine but it was always an integral part of Ayurveda

albeit this potential was never fully realised.Clinical Excellence Conclave for Students
