However…You are not meant to be always confined to a crib. You are not to remain a baby all
your life or to forever be dependent on your
parents.
You are expected to
grow…
How about your Soul?Doesn't it contain within itself a vital
force too?Within you, fresh and pure, is the vital force of God’s grace that filled you in Baptism, and always with you is the Spirit of God, the source of life and all
vital forces…
In the same way that you are not expected to remain always a baby in a crib or in
your mother’s arms, you are not expected to be all your life an infant in the spiritual
sense.
•Confirmation means accepting
responsibility for your faith and
your choices in life.
CHILDHOOD is a time when you are told what to do. Stage of Dependence!
Young adult and teenage years are times when
you must do what is right on
your own.The choices you make are made not for recognition or reward but for choosing the right thing to do.
YOU DRIVE YOUR OWN LIFE
YOU ARE A JEEPNEY DRIVER!
DRIVE IT TO THE FULLEST!
CONFIRMATION means to make firm or solid what has gone before and what our parents, god parents and God have done.If you were baptized as a baby, you did not make that choice. It was done for
us. It was God’s gift to us.Baptism reminds us that God accepts us and loves us even before we can
respond.
OUR GROWTH
Our Body evolves…We have many stages and
changes in our livesOur Soul evolves…
we have many stages and changes
in our spiritual journey.
CONFIFMATION MEANS GRACE
In Confirmation we receive the Holy Spirit. How does the Holy Spirit work is us?
