Galapagos
Islands
My Adventure
Day 1
– When I arrived , I was at Seymour Airport
– I got to my hotel: Galapagos Habitat by Eco Luxury Group Hotel on the Santa
Cruz Island
– Since the hotel was near the shore, I went on a boat to go diving to look at the
Sea Lions and Whitetip Reef Sharks
– I then went to the San Cristobal Island to spot some Red-Footed Booby’s
– It was the end of the day
Day 2
– As a treat, I went walking along Tortuga Bay on the island, one of the most
popular beach’s on the Galapagos Islands
– I went to the South Plaza Island to see the Cactus Trees and the Prickly Pear
Cactus
– I ate the fruit and it was delicious
– I sailed all the way to the Bartolome Island to walk across it’s beautiful
landscape
– I sailed back at sunset watching the sun go down
Day 3
– Just as I was coming out of the hotel, I spotted a Great Frigate Bird flying above
us
– I was very lucky to see the Wolf Volcano, one of the most active regions in the
world
– I later went to see one of the Barren Lava Fields
– The last thing I did was go and walk across Gadner Bay Beach to watch the sun
go down
Day 4
– Since we couldn't see the Whitetip Reef Shark, I went diving near the hotel
– I realised that we hadn't seen any Iguana’s, so I went hiking for them
– Eventually I spotted one, Conolophus Subcristatus Iguana
– We also went hiking on the island for giant tortoise’s
– Day 4 ended
Day 5
– As my last treat, I went to Isabela Island to go and see the Sierra Negra Volcano
– I hiked all day and then spotted some Sea Lions laying along the coast they
greeted me in a kind way
– I sailed to our hotel and I got very surprised (once again) that I saw some
Whitetip Reef Sharks swimming along with me
– After packing my things away at the hotel, I went back to the airport
– This was the end of our Galapagos adventure
– It was absolutely amazing!
