Doubled corrosion protection with zinc and chromium-free passivation. Zinc permanently protects steel strip that have been chromium-free-passivated for additional temporary protection.
What began with an ambitious research idea has now become an innovative product with a wide range of possibilities.■ 1990: initial projects in the area of chromium-free organic coating ■ 1992: initial serial production with chromium-free primer ■ 1998: chromium-free pre-treatment of organic-coated strip (Colofer) ■ 2005: entire product range switched to new, chromium-free technology ■ 2008: introduction of additional systems with new and expanded functionality
