Nelson Mandela’s Childhood

I found the earlier parts of his life very interesting.

I know a lot about the times he was and the times after that but it was interesting to learn about his upbringings. It explains a lot about why the way he was when he was older.

Every part of his childhood and young adult years had such an impact on his older years

Gandhi’s Beginnings

It was also hard to hear about his early times in South Africa, but he triumphed through all the trials

I did not know Gandhi married so young and struggled so much sexual

I assume as a young boy it would be a big part of his thoughts, but that is so tough to go through (getting married) at such a young age

• Gandhi faced tremendous opposition and faced hard times in South Africa and India. But he still fought for the rights of his people and was victorious in may ways.•Nelson Mandela was even sent to prison in the fight for his people’s rights, but through all the opposition he carried on.
