A Greener Tomorrow!Several ecological resources and green activities form a continous cycle. This cycle will provide infinite benefits to us. Preserving existing resources and trying to contribute towards the environment would help us sustain.

It’s Our Environment. Let’s take care of it.
ANIMAL HABITATFrequent vet care visits will maintain a healthy and active life for domestic pets. Eventually, they also make up one form of the ecological balance.
Taking your dog for frequent walks in the park nearby is definately environment friendly, rather compared to visiting some location in the city, using your personal vehicle and polluting the air.
Another eco-friendly way of travelling arround in tourist locations is via animal rides, generating income to further touring opportunities, is pollution free and consumes zero fuel. Examples are: elephant and camel rides.
Wildlife and bird sanctuaries are great for tourist attractions, a healthier way of touring a place, all in accordance with what the environment has to offer to us.

CONSERVE ENERGY
Use electricity sparingly, and buy environ-ment friendly gadgets and electrical appliances to save on energy consump-tion.
Natural and abundant sources of energy, such as from the sun, wind and water from rivers and lakes, should be adopted and used. This would reduce our depen-dancy on limited and hazardous resources such as petrol, diesel and mining of ores.
Public transport uses greener fuel such as CNG (compressed natural gas). It would be better to individually travel by public transport, to reduce on pollution and excessive traffic congestion, from a wholistic point of view.

TRANSPORTATION
Using the walkway is the best manner to affect the environment, positively. No pollution is produced. It also would keep us healthier, as walking is a form of excercising the body.
Handicapped people should be provided with clear navigation directions, so that they can also be a part of greener ways of travelling.
Bi-cycle riding services are not available in every city, but one can definitively use a cycle to travel from place to place which is also pollution free.
Transportation can be managed more efficiently by useage of road signs, reflective indications, responsive traffic signals. The people who travel also make up the other half, who should follow them strictly for a peaceful system.

RECYCLE
Reduce household waste generation, buy sufficient amounts of items and do not litter the surrounding environment. Keep it clean.
Aluminium cans can be recycled indefini-tively, no breakage, is light weight, reduces mining activities and saves on energy while recycling.
Don’t waste and throw paper. Buy and demand for recycled paper, leading to reduced tree fellings.
Seperately package plastic lids, peel off labels, squash empty containers and reduce using plastic bags. Plastic is heat sensitive, produces toxic fumes and can suffocate children.

CULTURAL VALUE
Traditional pottery involves making masterpeices from soil and clay that are natural materials from the Earth. An eco-friendly way of portraying the richness of a culture via this manner.
Being involved in social services and doing doing something for the commmu-nity is positive way of enculcating rich traditions from oneself to the society. One can share ideas, echange experi-ences and talk about the environment.
Community markets, and healthy places to dine also contribute in sustainability living, in a way where traditional things which could be made from natural material is traded and tasted.Eating joint

ECO-INFORMATION
Wireless internet hot spots are recom-mended. It reduces cabling, digging and distruction of soil and forests.
Public libraries contain books on environ-mental aspects with rich illustrations which aids to preserve the ecology.
Public places should be travelled to via public transport, rather than your private car which uses non-green fuel such as Deisel or Petrol. More people per trip saves on fuel and travelling expenses that aids pollution checks.
Information desks in a city, assist residents, tourists and students in various apsects, locally. They are a source to for green living and eco-lifestyles.

PLANT HABITATTrees and forests make up a great ratio of maintaining the ecological balance.Trees provide homes to so many birds and insects. Apart from this they provide a form of shelter and shade to humans. Let’s preserve them and gorw more plants and/or trees.
Gardens maintain the peace and tranquil-ity among cities and backyards of houses. A breathe of fresh air is always refreshing, anytime!
Nurseries are meant for nurturing nature in one way. Taking care of small plants that sometimes would bloom into beautifull and vibrant flowers. Thus, adding natural vibrancy to the greeness of nature, is far apart from any kind of arificial colour range.

PUBLIC SPACES
To visit sunrise and sunset spots, sit patiently and gaze at the setting or rising sun, along with getting absorbed by the surrounding nature is something to be experienced.
Garden painting, being an environment friendly activity when done in a garden, could showcase painting styles using natural colours and dyes on natural fibers such as silk or jute.
Gatherings at public spaces is another way by which people could try to communicate thier ideas of the environment and probably how we can preserve it for generations to come.
Picnic spots are great ways to relax and spend time together with family and friends in nature’s arms. Camping activities sprout up frm this ocassion.
