THE FINAL BATTLE

ASCEND THE TOWER

Run past the Fire Keese swarming around the first set of stairs andenter the first room of the tower. You will get locked in with twoDinolfos. There are three rooms on the way up Ganondorf's Towerwhere you will get locked in and have to defeat all of the enemiesto continue on. In the second room you will battle two Stalfos.When they are eliminated, the fire surrounding the intricate treas-ure chest will extinguish, allowing you to collect the Boss Key. TwoIron Knuckles wait silently in the third room up the stairs. Wakenand battle the Iron Knuckles one at a time. When they are defeat-ed, enter the unlocked door and ascend the next set of stairs. Usethe Boss Key to enter the final chamber of Ganondorf's Tower.

THE THREE PIECES

You will see a tall structure in the middle of the room and groups ofbreakable pots. Ignore this room for now and find the door leadingto the final set of stairs. Ganondorf will be waiting in the room atthe top of the stairs. His back will be turned to you as he plays theorgan, but now that the three pieces of the Triforce are in the sameplace, Ganondorf knows of your arrival. He now has the opportuni-ty to unite the Triforce and rule Hyrule, but he must defeat youfirst. Before the battle begins, Navi warns you that because of thewaves of darkness emanating from Ganondorf, she cannot helpyou as much as she would like. As Ganondorf rises into the air, thebattle between good and evil begins.

GOOD VERSUS EVIL

When Ganondorf gets hit by his own pro-jectiles, uou will have a split second to aimand shoot a Light Arrow at him. As he fa l l sto the ground stunned, Navi will briefly beable to help you target him.

Target Ganondorf with the Longshot andpull yourself next to him. Strike with yourMaster Sword, then quickly target thestained glass in one of the corners of theroom. You will be able to latch onto thestained glass and pull yourself to safety.

Repeat the process of deflecting, shootinga Light Arrow, targeting him with theLongshot, striking with the Master Swo r d ,and escaping to a corner until he is d e fe a t e d .

Your battle with Ganondorf has some similarities with yo u rencounter with Phantom Ganon in the Forest Temple. When he fire sballs of magic in your direction, use the Master Sword to deflectthem back at him. Keep doing this until you score a hit with one ofthe deflections. In this brief moment, shoot a Light Arrow to stunhim. This will give you a chance to attack him with the Master Swo r db e fo re he re c ove rs and slams the ground. Each time Ganondorfslams the ground, more of the floor will collapse, leaving only thec o r n e rs left to stand on. If you fall to the floor below, climb the mid-dle structure and quickly target a corner with your Longshot. Whenyou start to run low on supplies, check the breakable pots below. AsGanondorf gets weaker he will start to build up multiple shots.While he is doing this, you have an opportunity to stun him with aLight Arrow.

DESCEND THE TOWER

Follow Princess Zelda down the path, being careful not to fall offof the edges. Stay close to her as you both reach the locked doors.She will use her magic to open them. You have three minutes toreach the bottom of Ganondorf's Tower before it fully collapses. Inone of the rooms on the way down, Princess Zelda will becometrapped in a ring of fire, and two Stalfos will attack. Defeat themas quickly as possible to release her. Just before the last hallwayyou run into a ReDead. A few swipes with your sword should takecare of it, then it's a quick sprint to safety... or so you think.

BEAT BY A KID

Ganondorf is shocked that you have defeated him. As he struggleswith his last breaths, the tower begins to shake. By the timeGanondorf falls to the ground, the entire top portion of the toweris gone and Princess Zelda has been released. But Ganondorf'sTower has one last surprise for you. Ganondorf's last breath hasweakened the structure, and it is beginning to collapse.

From the remains of Ganon's Castle,Ganondorf will rise up for one more bat-tle, this time as the beast Ganon. A ring offire will form around the both of you, andGanon will knock your Master Sword justout of reach, on the other side of the fire.

This time Navi will be able to help youlocate Ganon's weak spots, but withoutthe Master Sword you will have to findanother way hurt Ganon. Use back flips tododge his swings, then L-Target Ganon'shead and shoot him with a Light Arrow.

While he's stunned, smash the tip of histail with the Megaton Hammer. Keep doingthis until you have a chance to grab theMaster Sword. Use the same techniquewith the Master Sword and eventuallyZelda will use her magic powers to holdGanon while you deliver the final blow.

RETURN THE MASTER SWORD

Princess Zelda thanks you forsaving Hyrule from the EvilGanondorf. Now the MasterSword must be returned to theTemple of Time, and the Door ofTime sealed. She takes theOcarina of Time and uses it toreturn you to your original time,seven years ago.

INTO THE VOID

The final blow will give the SixSages the opportunity to sendGanondorf into the void of theEvil Realm. They gather theirpowers together to open thevoid long enough to sealGanondorf inside.Unfortunately, he still possessesthe Triforce of Power.
