GARDEN SQUARE GAZETTE Hello family and friends! September was such a fun month. We celebrated National Assisted Living Week! Our shred-a-thon was an amazing success. Thanks to all of you who donated. We had over 150 cars and filled up one truck of paper and two trailers with electronics. We had several people ask if we would have a shred-a-thon more often. We do them twice a year, so keep an eye out for the next one. We honored the care team with games and food throughout the week. The Seniors enjoyed throwing water balloons at the care team and watching the team, run through an obstacle course. There was a ton of laughter and playing that afternoon! We are so blessed to have such a caring and loving team. Our monthly support group was the biggest we have had yet. Please feel free to join us every 3 rd Thursday of the month. We laugh, we cry, we learn and we tell stories. It is a time for us to connect on a different level. There was a request to do some education on Alzheimer s/Dementia medication. If this is a topic you would like to know more about, please join us at our monthly support group. Thank you for allowing us to love on you and your family. We look forward to seeing each one of throughout the month of October. Sincerely, Candice Salas Administrator October 2016

Hello family and friends!
