Chaffoteaux & Maury wall-hung gas appliances offer great flexibility in flueingarrangements, to accommodate all installation requirements. This technicalguide will help you to select the correct flue and components, for the locationof the boiler within a property.

1 - Standard Horizontal

The standard flue canrotate through a full 360˚allowing the greatestflexibility in siting.

2 - Raised Horizontal

Using a vertical adaptortogether with standard flueextensions it is possible toextend the overall length ofa standard flue and stillterminate horizontally.

3 - Vertical

For situations where it isnecessary to terminate theflue vertically through atiled or flat roof.

4 - Twin Pipe (Biflux)

Suitable for applicationswhere the appliance iseither sited further from asuitable external wall orwhere building obstructionsdo not allow conventionalhorizontal or vertical flueingarrangements.

Installation Conditions



Flue Types

C&M wall-hung appliances can be fitted up to 15metres from an outside wall using 80/125mm fluecomponents (4 metres using 60/100mm fluecomponents).

As long as the flue terminates horizontally, the mainlength of the flue can be vertical.

Uses standard straight flue extensions and bends.

With a special rubber sealing ring the flue can beinstalled and sealed externally at high levelswithout requiring access to the outside (60/100mmonly).

Unobtrusive terminal.

Simply add bends and straight extensions asrequired to complete the installation (60/100mmonly).

For 80/125mm use the 80/125 vertical adaptor.

Raised Horizontal,side exit

Raised Horizontal incorporating2 x 90˚ bend and straightextensions

C&M wall-hung appliances can be fitted up to 4metres from an outside wall using the standardhorizontal flue kit.

Full 360˚ rotation of the flue allows the greatestflexibility.

The optional 45˚ and 90˚ bends make the systemideal for boiler changes.

With a special rubber sealing ring the flue can beinstalled and sealed externally at high levelswithout requiring access to the outside.

Unobtrusive terminal.

The standard kit contains all that is necessary for abasic installation.

Flue can terminate vertically up to 16 metres awayfrom the boiler using the 80/125mm Vertical FlueKit (5 metres using the 60/100mm Vertical Flue Kit).

Removes the need to fit the boiler near an outsidewall.

A multitude of accessories make a very adaptableand flexible flue system.

Vertical terminals for flat, sloping, tiled or slatedroofs available.

Terminals and Flashings available in terracottafinish to special order.

Vertical Flue incorporating1 x 90˚ bend and 2 x 45˚bends

Vertical Flue incorporating2 x 90˚ bends

The ultimate in flexibility.

C&M wall-hung boilers can be fitted with upto 30 metres of Biflux flue.

Can terminate on flat, sloping, slated or tiledroofs.

Vertical, horizontal and even separateterminals are available.
