1/3 Gas dehydration station with triethylene glycol TEG July 2011 GAS DEHYDRATION STATION WITH TRIETHYLENE GLYCOL TEG APPLICATION: The gas dehydration station has the role to eliminate as much water vapors as possible within the gas flow coming from gas wells or compression stations. The eliminated water vapors quantity is reflected in the gas dew point at dehydration station outlet (its value must be as low as possible < -15 o C). The presence of water or water vapors in the transportation pipelines has the following consequences: - raise of corrosion level on the gas transportation pipelines - gas flow and pressure drop on the transportation pipelines enforcing larger energy consumption in order to compensate losses - low gas quality - hydrates formation The gas dehydration and glycol recovery process is a complete system for water vapors removal from the gas flow. The gas dehydration is done by driving in a countercurrent the gas and the triethylene glycol, using an absorber (glycol contactor). The gas dehydration station is automated, its operating parameters are monitored and have the possibility of long distance transmission. E&P = Exploration & Production S = Storage

GAS DEHYDRATION STATION WITH TRIETHYLENE GLYCOL TEG

APPLICATION: The gas dehydration station has the role to eliminate as much water vapors as possible within the gas flow coming from gas wells or compression stations. The eliminated water vapors quantity is reflected in the gas dew point at dehydration station outlet (its value must be as low as possible < -15oC).
