Nitech™ Nitrogen Rejection (NRU) TechnologyEnables producers to recover once by-passed reserves, regardless of nitrogen content. It economically removes nitrogen from natural gas streams without the complexity and in�exibility typically associated with traditional cryogenic processes.
Typically only three major components;The NRU generally only includes an inlet compressor, a heat exchanger and the cryogenic box. The design will provide you a small footprint and the module equipment will provide a lower investment cost.
No cryogenic rotating equipment required;Upstream of the heat exchanger, the necessary compression is performed for the remaining of the process. Therefore there are no cryogenic compressors or pumps required.
A less complex, more reliable and lower cost design;No double column with external refrigerant lines or cryogenic pumps. Therefore, lower investment, less maintainance costs and much lower power and compression requirements than other (non-)cryogenic technologies.
High methane recovery in excess of 99%;The Nitech NRU can easily recovery over +99% of the methane inlet. This will deliver you the largest high quality natural gas stream and the lowest emissions from the nitrogen vent.
Variable nitrogen contents with only operator set point changes required;Nitrogen content can easily range from 5% to 70% without any changes required. Moreover, regardless of the nitrogen varation, the NRU can keep a constant nitrogen outlet (within the sales gas pipeline) as low as 1%, depending on pipeline requirements.
Flexible in size and inlet content;Available for �ow rates of 30 to 2500+ million cubic meters per year. Also the design can handle nitrogen contents between 5% to 90%. This range has a wide coverage and will certainly assist you in creating high quality natural gas, which brings you the economic results.
