9:00 PANEL DISCUSSION Taking stock of the current gas storage landscape—Lessons learned

– Let’s look at the glass half-full – increased renewables distorting power generation markets

– need for load following/peaking services as driver of demand for storage

– low storage rates may be inadequate to support new build projects

– storage capacity may become scarce, theoretically increasing its value

– the need for enhanced injection capacity and deliverability to support LNG exports

– potential impact of PHMSA safety regulations in reducing storage capacity and deliverability

– Let’s look at the glass half-empty – low gas prices – no summer/winter spread on forward curve – low forward volatility – historical volatility and spreads are good but no one pays for it

– shale gas supply continues to be strong

Moderator: James Bowe, Jr., Partner, King & Spalding LLP

Paul Bieniawski, Chief Executive Officer, ENSTOR, Inc.

John Hopper, Managing Director, EnerGnostics, LLC
