The Lord is Israel, we are Israel.

The Lord is the Temple, we are the temple.

The Lord is the Lamb, we are the lambs

The Lord is the Messenger, we are the messengers.

The Lord is the Eagle, we are the eagles.

Luke 17:37 states, “Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together”

In this blessed paper, I would like to share what I read about the eagles are in Luke 17.

Luke 17:34-17

I tell you, in that NIGHT there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be TAKEN, and

the other shall be left.

Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other left.

Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be TAKEN, and the other left.

And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them,

Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

It is night because it symbolically is the hour of darkness; a time of great evil and tribulation. It

says two will be in bed. One taken, and the other left. I am sure that we all have heard different

ideas like how those Elects will be taken in rapture while sleeping, driving, or working. Well it

might happen literally, but that is not what God meant here.

God is saying that one was saved (Elected) and the other wasn’t saved (professed believer).

They both are working together to build God’s kingdom. Hence, they both were in the same

bed. They both were working out in the field. One taken and one left. That is when the

disciples asked, “taken where, Lord?” And God tells them about the body and the eagles. In

other words, one will be taken from the bed or field to the body where the eagles are gathered

to feast on it. It might be hard to understand for most people but all these images are about the

Gospel.

I checked the Scriptures and found that the bed is illustrative of sleeping.

Job 33:15

In a dream, in a vision of the NIGHT, when DEEP SLEEP falleth upon men, in slumberings

upon the BED;

Two will be in bed (spiritually sleeping), but only one will depart with the Lord. We can

compare this with ten virgins parable:

Matthew 25:1-7

Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps,

and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to

meet him.

Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

The kingdom of heaven is the church which spirtually signifies true virgins (those elected) and

the foolish virgins (those who profess to be Christians). They BOTH slumbered and slept while

the bridegroom TARRIED. Why did the Lord tarry? Normally the Lord would appear in the sky

the moment the last Elect was sealed through the testimony of Two Witnesses, but he delayed

for a “short season” to test church’s faithfulness. So the virgins sleep!

John 9:4

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no

man can work.

Likewise, two men in one bed, Luke 17:34. They both slept because it was the time when no

man could work to bring any more men into the Kingdom of God. Salvation has ended and the

apostasy of the church has come. Midnight is the darkest time when apostasy has come to the

point where transgression is now completed. At that time, a cry is made by the bridegroom

(Jesus) to alert the virgins that he is coming but will not yet appear. Same with Revelation 11,

when the Spirit of Life comes upon these Two Witnesses they will “resurrect” from that death

(sleep), Revelation 11:11-12. Both the wise and foolish virgins were awake, but only ones with

the oil was “taken” and the others without oil were left in the apostate church. See where I am

coming from on this?

Anyway, back to Luke 17, the field illustrates the world, Matthew 13:38. Two out in the world,

but only one is called to depart with the Lord. And the grinding illustrates the grinding of a

millstone to make the meal flour of bread:

Deuteronomy 24:6

No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man’s life

to pledge.

Two grinding out bread, but only one is called to depart with the Lord. You see…it is all about

these covenant people within the congregation (body) of Christ and the Gospel.

The context is that Christ says one will be taken, and the apostles asked where. The Lord

answers by the cryptic language declaring “wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be

gathered together.” Thus Christ has answered their question of where the BELEIVERS (those

taken) will be taken to. And his answer to the question shows where…TO JUDGE THE BODY!

The Elected are the eagles to judge the body!

The carcase is referring to the corporate church after all the believers have departed. It was

once alive with Spirit of life, but the Spirit is no longer present. It has gone with those who have

departed from her. Then the church is now viewed as a carcase for the birds to gather together.

Wheresoever is the key! It is not just in Jerusalem, Boston, or Bombay. It is WHERESOEVER the

church sits in the world that the eagles could gather together. The eagles are “taken” to

PROPHESY against the whore as a judgment. It is not the rapture or the Second Coming yet,

but about the hour of judgment upon House of God.

Rev. 18:17-19

For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the

company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this

great city!

And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas,

that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her

costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

In Revelation 18, the kings of the earth, merchants of the earth, shipmaster, sailors within

context are all seen by God as His People. They are the Eagles. Let read Revelation 18 carefully:

Rev. 18:2-6

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,

and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of

every unclean and hateful bird.

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of

the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are

waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be

not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her

works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

We, the elected, are the ones God is talking to! He commands us to come out of her, and to

REWARD HER EVEN AS SHE HAS YOU. It is us who have come out (taken) to judge her!

Like God took Lot and his family physically out of the city, He is moving, with the Spirit of Life, to

“take” His people out of this Great City which once was faithful representative of God on earth

for the past 2,000 years but has BECOME the home of the devils. At that time we are to

prophesy against Babylon as she fell into DESOLATION. We both know that we now are

witnessing about her judgment as pestilence, plagues, blackness, death and mourning, famine,

being burned up with fire, being devoured by beasts, and false prophets and Christs, so on and

so forth. Yes it is the Lord God that ultimately judges her, BUT he also says it comes through

HIS WITNESSES (Eagles) who are rewarding or paying her for her works! Amazing! This is what

we are doing today, to prophesy against false christs and prophets that are now running the

congregation as if they are God, 2nd Thess 2.

As for Christ's reference to eagles and the body, Christ is teaching us about the judgment of

God by His people. This spiritual illustration that Christ points to is from the Proverb found in

the book of Job about the blood of the slain and the eagles who devour the body. So where the

body is, there the eagles will be gathered together, and it makes perfect sense. Eagles are birds

of prey that often devour carrion or dead flesh. The Book of Job gives us the illustration of the

eagle from the strong place on high seeking out the prey from afar, and likens its characteristics

to that given believers by God.

Page 6: Gathering of the Eagles

5

Job 39:27-30

Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.

From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.

Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.

This is from where the illustration in Luke, Matthew and Revelation comes. Scripture

interprets scripture. As the Lord ties in the symbolic eagle with many characteristics of the

true believers, the false corporate church as a dead body/carcase. The eagle is said to dwell

on high in the Rock, in a place of strength for security and can see afar off. And likewise, the

believer has his home on high in the spiritual Rock (1 Cor. 10:4), dwelling in the Mountains

(e.g. Flee to the Mountains), the only true lofty place (Eph. 2:6) of spiritual strength and

security, and wherein he can see afar off like the shipmaster and sailors in Revelation 18.

This Rock of course is the Lord our God. And He is the ultimate eagle (Ex. 19:4, Deut. 32:11-

12) of whom we are His representatives being His eagles. The eagles are symbolic of the

Lord’s people who take on “HIS” characteristics of protection and judgment in Scripture.

The point of Christ giving this analogy is to identify the Spiritual eagles as those given

judgment over the dead body or carcase which I believe we are doing right now! Some will

be taken from the bed, field, grinding. Where? To join the Lord in the mountains in

judgment over the dead body! And some will be left in the dead body unaware to be

judged. The difference is that we are eagles that have mounted up on wings, and they are

not, just like the wise virgins has the oil, the foolish virgins does not, Matthew 25:3; 8-10.

After the “midnight cry” to alert that the Lord is coming, it will be only a matter of time now

before he finally reveals in the sky to gather us from the ends of the earth. The seventh

trumpet (our last trump) will be blown once the hour of judgment of the Whore is complete

whenever that might be.

Thank Lord God of Israel for opening our eyes to your hidden nuggets as you have promised

in Daniel 12:4. Your prophecies are being fulfilled before our eyes. Come Lord Jesus!
