Universal installation housings for cavity wall installation.
The system for cavity wall installation
includes four housing sizes, with which you
can safely and accurately perform dry-wall
installation of almost any standard equip-
ment, including power supply units and trans-
formers. Quick and hassle-free installation is
ensured by the proven KAISER cavity wall
installation method with the quick screw-on
technique. Equipment is simply attached with
screws that take a secure hold in the mineral
fibreboard, or by clamping the equipment in
the installation opening. All housings are also
available in halogen-free materials.

B_Universal-Einbaugehäuse_GB_RZ.indd 8 09.01.2007 16:34:20 Uhr
After cables or conduits are fed through,
the housing is pushed into the wall and
attached with the quick coupling piece. You
can use a fretsaw to precisely position the
installation opening for your equipment.
(During this process, note the maximum
stroke length of the saw blade.) Finally, the
border area of the housing is lightly sanded,
if possible with a resin bonded sanding sur-
facer. When attaching equipment, please
use screws that penetrate into but not all
the way through the mineral fibreboard (e.g.
SPAX, countersunk, 3.5 x 15 mm)

The included drilling template provides
you with the markings for a perfectly fitting
wall opening in no time at all. The four
corners are opened with a cutter and the
outer contours can be cut with a fretsaw or
a cutter.

Universal installation housings for flush -mounting installation.
The system for flush-mounting installation
includes six housing sizes for the a wide
variety of equipment installation types. The
intelligent design of the housings ensures
stability and a secure hold in the wall and
offers you maximum space for installation.
The housings are fire-resistant up to 650 °C
and conform to the protection class IP2x.

Technical advice:Tel: +49(0)2355.809.61
Universal installation housings for flush -mounting installation.
Mounting an installation housing is just
as easy as mounting a junction casing. Make
a wall opening according to the dimensions
of the housing, run the cables or conduits
through the housing and attach it to the
wall. The installation opening can be made
in the housing before or after it is inserted in
the wall (with laid cables, please note the
maximum stroke length of the sawblade).
Equipment can be attached in the installa-
tion housing by clamping into the installation
opening or by screwing onto the mineral
fibreboard. When installing your equipment
please note the length of the attachment
screws used. These should penetrate into,
but not all the way through the mineral fibre-
board. Otherwise, there is danger of voltage
transfer.

An extensive range of accessories ensures
that the housing is accurately and safely
positioned during concreting and setting.
This applies for on-site mixed concrete, for
horizontal and vertical formwork, and also
for prefabricated concrete. Inner support
conduits stabilise the housings and can simply
be removed after concreting. The circular
groove on the mineral fibreboard marks
the maximum installation opening.
