1.You need to have a chilling attitude when going for an interview, coz if you are nervous youlose. Mind it coz its a stated fact.

2. Dress appropriately - No funky ties, no funky/boat shoes, collar buttons tied up and tie shouldbe on collar edge, carry pen in the pocket, coat/jacket top button should be closed but when you

sit on the chair, open it and sit, so that you should feel at ease; Greet the interviewer

appropriately, keep a soft smile so that it may seem that you are welcoming. (Remember an oldsaying "Dress like your boss's boss, if you need a promotion)

3. Make sure you know what is wriiten in your CV/Resume, this is a common mistake which wemake when a question is asked from CV you get stuck....and at the back of your mind youthink..."Who wrote that in my CV?

4. Walk in and show the interviewer that you are the only one who can do the job. What i mean isthat have that confidence.

5. When you get a Job Description for any profile by a company visiting your campus....go throughit very carefully and do extensive research on what the job is all about, what it requires you to do

and what will be the impact of the job on the business, how it will develop your own skills. Very

strong tip is, search the similar profile on the net for other companies and read their jobdescriptions, you can easily get it on the company websites by logging to the 'careers' page.Once you have read it all...you know what kind of candidate will be able to fit in that profile andwhat skills it needs...then map those skills in yourself and on a paper write 5 skills or strengthsyou possess that makes you the most deserving candidate for this job.....and It is through thisexercise that you will get an answer to the most loved question asked by the interviewr..."Whyshould we consider you for this job? / Why should we hire you?

6. Be interactive and make eye contact with the interviewer....and please please please be bluntand honest with your responses to the questions if you don't agree at any point in time let theinterviewer know it...don't just say yes and go with whatever they are saying. But don't get in any

arguement with them. so be gentle when you do so (if anything such comes up).

7. Its good to keep a soft smile and introduce a little humor in the interview process..like a one-liner or soething very crisp and very short then tell your answer. (If you need any help further onthis, post a question and i will answer it)

8. Never tell them what job you want - only if they ask you about your dream job tell them butdon't be vague and start day-dreaming....just tell them what job you want to do and the skills thatwill be needed to get to it.

9. Never negotiate on salary, you are fresh it is better to say...as per the industry norms anycompetitive salary structure will do good for you.

Lastly, while leaving the room, don't forget to thank the interviewer, shake hands firmly (pleasedon't crush it you are not auditioning for a wrestler's/bouncer's job).

There are few things which has to be kept in mind while you sit for the placements.

1. Your world is not going to end if a recruiter doesn't selects you , the recruiter looks for aspecific sets of skills & specific background , which might be there with you or not or mightpartially present .

2. In Pshycometric test - the thumb rule is - Be what you are - need not to be a perfectionistor GOD in every question being asked in PSHYCO test . Just show them what you are - bcozif u landed up in a wrong job on giving Artificial answers in pshycometric test - YOUR LIFEWILL BE HELL THEN.

3. In Interviews - dont give a chance to a recruiter to dig up those aspects and points onwhich you cannot speak or you can get confused . Eg - If your hobby is playing guitar - so

you should know everything about guitar or else dont write ... Need not to make your resumeFlashy - it can screw your interviews.

4. There will be a situation where you are getting rejected by contineously - so dont looseheart - it will happen - you re entering in a practical life phase - rejections give you perfectlearning - itsa blessing in disguise . the more you bleed your knees the better the runner you

will be in your life .

5. Make it clear in your mind - "What you want to be " & "what are the means of getting toit" - Many people dont like banks and insurance companies - So dont go for it , Many peoplehave charm for Goverment jobs - So go for it n start preparing for Govt jobs - Many peopledont want to get into job they just want to be entreprenuer - SO be that - DONT HAVE AN

ATTITUDE THAT YOU HAVE TO GET IN SOMETHING JUST BCOZ YOU ARE A BEGGER OF AJOB ... HAVE GUTS N BUILD YOUR DREAM ... FOLLOW YOUR DREAM

6. PLAN - B - trust me guys -3 months down the line if you are in the last 40% or 30% .. umight need it desperatly..

LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST "ITS YOUR ATTITUDE NOT YOUR APTITUDE WHICH DECIDESYOUR ALTITUDE" IN LONG TERM ONLY THIS WORKS....

Every negative thought has a positive result hidden within it. Also it is said that God

takes away things from you and empty your hands to give something much better than

you possessed. So even the bad have it time as it is said "Time heals everything". All

you need to do is just keep going on with the same attitude and passion. Life may bring

obstacle in your way but they are the stepping stone to success. Even the tallestbuilding raises from the ground and so do the human beings. Every moment has its own

Reading this proverb itself gives us a positive vibes. The word silver lining attracts us

fills us with new thoughts, As it says every cloud means problems faced by each and

everyone of us who have life and is living on this earth for their dreams, goals, daily

needs, etc. Not just human being are included in it, animals, plants, etc everything.

Everyone has somewhat the problems in their life but as it says "Every Darkness alwayshas a ray of sunshine" which is similar to the above proverb.

A silver lining bring hope, happiness, liveliness. The spirit to get up a fight the problem

which lowered our faith our determination.

This proverb signifies that no matter how hard the problem are pulling you in a muddy

pond if you have hope and the spirit to get off that problem their will always be a string

of silver lining hanging to pull you out from it.

Life is one and hurdles are more to reach the goal. So it is sure that no one can be

bad time and vice versa. The literal meaning of the quote is that the darkness of the sky

by the clouds are not for the long time and it is sure that after a heavy rainfall the sky is

The statement means every pbm will definetly end at one time. We should never loose

our hope, have patience and never bow down to the problems. For example consider

ABDUL KALAM during his studies he faced many critical conditions. One among them is

his dean was dissatified by his work and ordered him to complete his project with in 2

days. After 48 hours struggle our kalam completed that. Thats the spirit!

Now I would love to give you a short example about it. When you go for work everyday

you have. A person's thought is very powerful things can be done based on just one

do not give up and keep learning from its mistakes, at the end of the day, things will be

pretty cool for him.

It is human nature that in diverse conditions they stop looking at another options which

It is definetly very true that Every cloud has silver lining. When a person fails then he

realy comes to know what is success e.g how do we know that it is day time because we

have seen the night. Similarly a successful person knows what is failure, after facing the

failure he had succeeded.

But the main thing is how one has to deal while failure period, in that case i think

motivation is the most important thing, he himself has to motivate himself and at thattime the role of the family and friends is very important, their support is very
