Size and SpaceThe Datacube complex is composed of two newly constructed buildings on a property land site of approx. 9000 square meters.
The first building of approx. 3500 square meters has been contracted to a multinational mobile operator for the housing of its own equipment
The second building of approx 6500 square meters has been constructed as a Tier III+ collocation facility. The space is divided as follows:
2700 square meters – net server space available for lease 670 square meters – office space available for lease 330 square meters – storage space available for lease2800 square meters – operations offices, technical space, entrance, security room, loading, etc

LocationThe Datacube site is located in an industrial zone at the edge of Bratislava, 10 minutes from the city center and 40 minutes from the Vienna airport.
This site was selected in accordance with Tier III conditions and a view towards the constant increase in energy consumption of data centers
The site is less than 1 km from two independent 110kV electrical sub- stations each with spare capacity of more than 20 MW.
The site is 900m from Slovakia’s main telecommunications hub and less than 600 m from the major international and local fiber routes.
The site is far from residential units, railway lines, flight paths and other complications that can impact/restrict data center performance.
The site is officially outside of any 100+ year flood areas.

PowerDirectly to a 110kV/22kV sub station via our own dedicated 22kV cable with capacity of 10MVA. This capacity can be increased in the future according to actual energy requirements up to 20 MVA.
Another 110kV/22kV sub station with significant spare capacity is located less than 1 km away as a potential third power connection
2 separate UPS systems with batteries (A+B), each in a redundant N+1 configuration.
On-site generators (2.2 kVA) as a source of back-up energy in a redundant N+1 configuration with fuel supply for 72 hours of continual service.
Each rack can be served by 2 independent power supplies (16A, 32A, 63A), single-phase or triple-phase.

CoolingHighly efficient and secure dry cooler system with maximized use of free cooling when ambient outside temperatures are low.
All elements of the cooling system are in a redundant N+1 configuration.
One meter raised floor provides for more efficient and effective cooling of customer equipment.
Exceptionally high (5.2 meter) ceilings in IT space allows hot air to rise keeping customer equipment cool.

Fiber ConnectionsBratislava is the crossing point for multiple operators’ Prague-Vienna-Budapest- Kiev fiber routes.
Datacube is connected via fiber to the main existing telecom hub in Slovakia
Discussions are under way so that every major international carrier active in the region will be connected to the Data Center through two independent fiber routes.
The high numbers of carriers that will be present ensures the ability to obtain the best possible terms and conditions of telecom services.
