There’s an overall gender balance among PhD graduates EU 27- 2010: 46 % - 2012 : 47.2 %

Key Performance Indicators

Percentage of women participants in Horizon 2020 projects.

In the first two years of Horizon 2020 the share of women participants in Horizon 2020 projects was 35.8% of the total workforce including non-researchers.

Percentage of women coordinators in Horizon 2020.

The percentage of women coordinators was 34.6%

Percentage of women in EC advisory groups expert groups, evaluation panels, individual experts, etc.

- 31.1% of the experts registered in the expert database were women. - The share of contracts signed with women experts participating in evaluation panels was 36.7% - The share of women in advisory group was 51.9%

Percentage of projects taking into account the gender dimension in research

The analysed grants showed that 36.2% of the signed grants took into account the gender dimension in the research and innovation

content.
