• “A dedicated trimodality (PET/MR/EEG) imaging tool for schizophrenia”

• TRIMAGE aims to create a trimodal, cost-effective imaging tool consisting of PET/MR/EEG using cutting edge technology with performance beyond the state of the art.

• The tool is intended for broad distribution and will enable effective early diagnosis of schizophrenia and possibly other mental health disorders.

The aim of TRIMAGE

• - S&T objective 1: Find new biomarkers and define a suitable multimodal paradigm with already available PET, MR, EEG and PET/MR systems that provides clinical evidence on the feasibility of advanced schizophrenia diagnosis.

• - S&T objective 2: Construct and test an optimized cost-effective trimodality imaging instrument (brain PET/MR/EEG) for diagnosis, monitoring and follow-up of schizophrenia disorders.

• - S&T objective 3: Validate the trimodal imaging device built by this Consortium with regard to the results and the clinical data obtained from objective 1.

BUDGET#2 (A word of Caution )

To be in the financial reportInvoices must be already payed by 31 May 2015

If expenses are > 375k€ for the period an Audit Certificate must be included before submission of FormC

When all partners have submitted C (inclusive of the Audit certificate if necessary) , the coordinator can fill the financial report that together with the scientific report constitutes the reporting period document.

This document must be submitted to EU within 2 months, i.e. 31 July 2015

BUDGET#3 (€€€ distribution time scale)If everything is fine, EU will transfer to the coordinator the 75% of all the money spent by the consortium in the first reporting period. (Note that the prepayment is not to be reported)

Expected transfer to the coordinator one month after the submission of the financial report

end August (maybe optimistic)

Expected transfer to the beneficiaries mid-september (maybe optimistic)

The equal percentage scheme that was used for the prepayment can be changed to different percentages for each beneficieries according to their needs and the approval by the EC.

Up until now only two presentations made on TRIMAGE:- One at PSMR2014 (from Weeroc group on TRIROC, now

submitted to TNS)- A Poster from TEIA/UNIPI/TUM at IEEE_NSS_MIC _2014

Expected quite a few publications this coming year, starting from PSMR2015 conference (18-20 May, Elba Island, Italy)
