General Education Student Learning Assessment
GEO Training Series: 1 of 5 Spring 2012 February 13, 2012

Purpose
The purpose of General Education Assessment is to measure student learning based on student work from an aggregated, institutional perspective. The six GEOs focus on institutional level student learning outcomes which may be assessed across the curriculum. CAC will NOT use GEO assessment results to evaluate instructors.

• Program Owners act on results
• Results impact Academic Program Review
