3.1. How to schedule posts on

different channels

VERSION A:

• Click at the Content Research 1, 2 or 3 tab

• You will see different channels on which you

can search for information that would be

interesting for our social media channels

• The following slides will show you how to act

if you have found something spectacular in

the world wide web

For example: youtube

Now you can enter a keyword

For example: Social Media

You can choose one of the appearing

videos

A window will appear on the left side

IMPORTANT: NEVER forget to

schedule a date and time!

Please schedule a date which is at

least 3 hours in the future!

Now select the profiles for it (twitter and

LinkedIn); Please don’t select Facebook

Choose the channel/s and click

Click the button “Schedule”

Now your tweet will appear at the

“Scheduled Messages”- Tab for each

channel you have selected

VERSION B:

Create your own posts !

Go to the left side of the homepage

and click “Publisher”

Now choose “Require Approval”

To create a message – use the

compose message tab

Just ad your own text

IMPORTANT: NEVER forget to

schedule a date and time!

Please schedule a date which is at

least three hours in the future!

Now you choose the channel/s

(twitter and linkedin)

Press “schedule”

Now your tweet will appear at the

“Scheduled” - Tab

4. Forbidden Features

This list contains things you should NEVER do

while using Hootsuite:

- Click the “Send now”- Button in the “Compose

message”- Tab

> only use the “Schedule now” –Button. Since

we review every sceduled post from you

before we publish it.

4. Forbidden Features

• Use information that already has been posted

by someone else in the SEA-Streams

> Please try to check back at the “Schedules

post”- Overview if someone else has already

posted the same content as you

• Don´t use the “Ideengarage”-Channel

> Just use the twitter and linkedin channels of

SEA
