In order to have your players prepared for the upcoming tournament we have arranged a special training package where everyone can choose the options which suits their needs. Players can choose to join in the camp sessions, book individual sessions or rent a court to play with their own coaches, so with these three options we will have the majority of your needs covered.

BASE Stars of Tomorrow Camp The camp runs from Saturday 17th- until Monday 20th of August, and contains 10
sessions (2 options per day). Players will have the choice to access all of the camp or only some of the sessions, so it is tailored to their own needs. The camp will be focused mainly on preparation and point play and will be conducted in groups of max. 4 players per court, run by our top performance coaches. The times of the sessions are 9.00-10:30 am and 13.30-15.00pm from Saturday to Monday.
Also, we will run a Strength and Conditioning session from 10:30 to 11:30 from Saturday to Monday for those players who want to stay fit during the event. The cost for each tennis session will be €35 and the strength and conditioning session 15€ and can be booked in advance via email at [email protected]
Structure of the day’s trainingThe players will be on court for 3 hours per day (1.5 Hour and 1.5 hour on court
session). The sessions will based on playing drills, on court movement related to tactics and preparation and point play. Considering that the tournament will begin a few days later, the focus will be mainly tactical and match play sessions.
PlaySight Ⓡ on court and off analysis could be arranged.
BASE Tailored program
Players can access our International program and can have their training tailored to their needs. They will receive an individual coach for their preparation and the cost for these sessions are listed under Price List Tab at the end of the Information Package document. The advantage of this is that players who intend to come out earlier than the camp, or who want to work on specific areas will be accommodated to. Priority court booking will be given to players wishing to have individual sessions so you can really be flexible in your preparation.
Special note: Germany has it all!Germany has a rich tradition in tennis, and its infrastructure and geography make it
an ideal location for players wishing to compete against the best players Europe has to offer. All the way up from the local juniors, Tennis Europe Events, ITF, money tournaments, and WTA/ATP Germany has it all. The tournament structure is very much an ‘open door policy’. This makes it easy for our staff to ensure visiting players compete in tournaments that are the right level for them. Court BookingCourts are available to book throughout the week at a cost of €10 per hour. You
can book them in 30min slots to a max. of 2 hours per block in order to provide courts to everyone.
We will also have some off site practice courts available which are only a 2 minute drive from the venue to guaranteed that everyone has enough court time. The courts will be available to book throughout the day and you can send us an email to block courts one week in advance from when the tournament starts.
* Please note that priority for court booking will go first and foremost to players who are involved in the Camp and Tailored programs. After this process, it is a first come first serve basis. In the event of bad weather, Camp and Tailored will have first option on the indoor courts.
BASE TENNIS: an overviewBASE TENNIS’s innovative coaching philosophy along with its acclaimed facilities

BASE TENNIS boasts a beautiful complex with everything a player/coach would need including:

PlaySight®
The introduction of PlaySight® has dramatically changed the way we work with players who come from overseas for a training block. The sharing of information has become very easy for us, and allows the coach back home to view, comment or have input into what is going on with the player while they are in Germany.
Restaurant/Bar
Our fully-licensed snack and bar bistro NetzRoller provides light, healthy meals and drinks.
There would be two main stations during the tournament.The restaurant on the outside courts would be serving warm food.The restaurant inside would be serving snacks, coffee and cake.

Coaching Staff
Bernardo BachinoPlayed at Auburn University and Jacksonville State NCAA Division 1 schools. Was
twice OVC all conference 1st team member, and Conference champion in 2007 and 2009, competing at NCAA division 1 National Championship in 2 occasions.
Bogdan YordanovPlayed at University of Norfolk State and was selected as an all conference player.
After graduation was an assistant coach of the University and led the school to 2nd place in the Conference Championship.
Ina WiedingPlayed at Tyler College at the No.1 spot and was ranked No.4 in the country
rankings. Was an All American Doubles Champion and led her college team to their first National Championship. Transferred to North Texas Division 1 and played No.1 for the rest of the season.
Rodney RapsonPlayed at Arizona State and Jacksonville State NCAA Division 1 schools. Was an
OVC all conference Team member, Conference Champion 2005 and competed in the NCAA National Championships 2005.
Ruben HerreraPlayed at Jacksonville State University at No.1 for 3 years, held the record for the
most wins at no.1 for any individual player. Was an All Conference Team Member and helped coach the team to the their first Conference Championship and National Tournament place.
Robert KinsMarcos graduated as a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Sports Training in
Germany. Robert also has done many courses on diet and nutrition and is a certified coach for Strength and Conditioning. Robert had worked with the top German players. He has been working with BASE TENNIS since 2011.

Transport
BASE TENNIS is location makes readily accessible:
By car:The A-48 runs right along side our academy and the A-3, which is the main arterial
between Frankfurt and Cologne is just 5 KM away. That being said, we are only 45mins from either Frankfurt am Main airport, or
Cologne-Bonn airport by car.
By train:The centre can be easily accessible via train. Both airports (Frankfurt(M)Flughafen
& Bonn/Köln Flughafen) train stations easily connect to the ICE Montabaur HbF and Koblenz HbF (train stations) which are both 15 mins away from the academy. Montabaur or Koblenz Train stations is a €30 cab ride from BASE TENNIS.

By Pick-Up:If you want us to organize a car to pick you up, please send us an email directly at
[email protected] with the amount of people traveling and your flight itinerary 5 days in advance of your arrival.
In order to keep the costs down for the participants, we will try to organise it so we get couple of people at airport the same time. This cost is 120€ per ride.
For your information, the taxi ride will cost between 150 - 180 € if you decide to do it with a private company. They also will change the price depending on how many people will be in the car.

Sport Science/Medical StaffWe have access to the highest qualified medical staff in the local area. Our sports
doctor, Dr. Thomas Weitzel has his practice in the largest hospital in Westerwald which is 7km from the academy. Dr. Weitzel works together with the best physiotherapist from the area, so we can be assure to be in the right hands in terms of preventing and curing injuries.
Holistic Training
Alongside our studio gym, there is an opportunity to participate in many activities that would be listed under holistic training methods including;
• Outdoor circuit training in the woods
• Sports yoga and recovery systems
All this and more makes it an ideal place to complete a player’s programme for the pre-comp and competition phases.
Education
Players wishing to continue their school/course work while abroad will have access to full-time tutors. We are also officially linked with the local secondary school, which allows the player access to the teachers and the facilities the school has to offer.
