Please observe your duties in the event of loss/damage in accordance with the General Insurance Conditions (GIC).In order to be able to process the insured event, the insurer requires various documents regarding the onset and the type of loss/damage. The following table contains a list of the documents that must be presented to the insurer in order to receive benefits as quickly as possible. In principle, only those documents that pertain to the insurance benefits that the Insured Person wishes to claim must be submitted. In the case of doubt, please ask the benefits provider which documents are required.

Documents required to process the claim

PART A: CLIENT INFORMATION ZURICH INSURANCE COMPANY LTD INFORMATION FOR THE INSURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH VVG

The following insurance information gives you, as the Insured Person, a clear overview of the main points in the insur-ance contract (Collective travel and airline accident insurance, policy no. 13.819.722 and the Collective trip cancella-tion costs, luggage and purchase protection insurance, policy no. 13.832.727) between Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, Mythenquai 2, 8002 Zurich (hereinafter Zurich) and Viseca Card Services SA (hereinafter Viseca). Please file this carefully. Both your rights and duties and those of the contracting parties are derived from the above-mentioned policies (or any subsequent policies) and from the relevant laws. The exact wording of these policies may be viewed at Würth Financial Services AG, 8902 Urdorf.

I General provisions

1. Policy holder Viseca Card Services SA, Hagenholzstrasse 56, P.O. Box 7007, 8050 Zürich, represented by Würth Financial Services AG, Versicherungsbroker, In der Luberzen 42, 8902 Urdorf

2. Insured Persons – Visa Platinum credit card holders (including partner, secondary or additional cards), hereinafter Cardholder; – Spouse or registered partner of the Cardholder; in the absence of whom, the partner, i.e. the unmarried,

unregistered, unrelated natural person (also same sex), who lived in the same household as the Cardholder in a marriage-like relationship without interruption over the last five years prior to the occurrence of the insured event;

– Children with a right to maintenance and the Cardholder’s unmarried children until completion of their 25th year of age.

3. Premium Viseca pays the insurance premium.

4. Beginning and term of the insurance cover The insurance begins with the issuance of the Visa Platinum card by Viseca and the receipt of the Visa Platinum

card by the Cardholder. It ends with the expiry of the card and/or the termination of the credit card agreement (termination by Viseca or the Cardholder). The insurance applies to all events that occur during the validity of the credit card.

5. Data processing As the Policy Holder, Viseca does not give client data pertaining to the insured (Cardholder) to Zurich or to Würth

Financial Services AG upon the conclusion of a credit card contract. However, Viseca is entitled to give Zurich and Würth Financial Services AG those client data required to process the contract and any claims in the case of an insured event reported by the Insured Person or in the case of fundamental enquiries or applications in connec-tion with the insurance contract (in particular personal details such as the type and duration of the credit card contract).

Zurich and/or Würth Financial Services AG are authorised to obtain and process the data required for processing the contract and/or claim from involved third parties directly. Those parties involved in processing the contract

and/or claim are also deemed to be authorised to obtain useful information from such third parties and to inspect official files. The parties involved undertake to deal with the information received in a confidential fashion. The information is stored physically and/or electronically.

6. Applicable law and jurisdiction The jurisdiction shall be Zurich as this is the location of Zurich’s head office or its domicile in Switzerland or

Liech tenstein or the registered office of the policyholder in accordance with the wishes of the Insured Person and/or the person entitled to benefits. If the Insured Person and/or the person entitled to benefits lives abroad, the city of Zurich shall be the sole jurisdiction. Swiss law shall apply. In addition, the appropriate provisions of the Swiss Federal law on insurance contracts (VVG) shall apply. For insurance in the Principality of Liechten-stein, the provisions of Liechtenstein law regarding the Insurance Policy Act (VersVG) shall apply.

7. Special provisions In every case it is deemed as agreed that the contractual provisions have unlimited validity in the above-

mentioned policies. This client information is dated September 2012 and replaces all previous confirmations of insurance and/or client information.

II Collective travel and airline accident insurance Max. CHF 1 000 000 in the event of death or disability Max. CHF 60 000 for rescue, search and repatriation costs

1. Geographical scope The insurance is valid worldwide.

2. Insured accidents and physical injury Accidents and physical injuries similar to accidents, excluding professional illnesses that the Insured Persons

sustain as occupants (driver or passenger) of a means of transport pursuant to Clause II 4 incl. boarding and alighting are insured in accordance with the provisions of the UVG. The disability and death benefits are re-duced proportionately if the health impairment or death were only partially caused by an insured event.

3. Conditions of insurance cover The entitlement to benefits as the result of an insured event arises, insofar as the transport costs (less any cash

advances made up to a maximum of 20 % of the travel costs) were paid with the Viseca credit card.

4. Insured means of transport In the capacity as driver of passenger of a hired bicycle, hired moped, hired motorbike, hired car (minibus,

private car, motor home, campervan), hired ship (sails/motor), helicopter. In the capacity as passenger of a mountain railway, bus, railway, airplane, ship, skilift, taxi insofar as the trans-

port costs were paid using the credit card, and transport using half-price rail cards and annual SBB rail passes (passes and tickets paid for using the credit card). Taxi/bus/rail as means of transport to the airport, railway station and target destination (place of residence, hotel, holiday house, etc.) are insured, even if the transport costs were not paid for by credit card.

5. Limitation to insurance cover The insurance does not cover: – Accidents with leased means of transport; – The consequences of warlike events in Switzerland; – The consequences of warlike events abroad. However, if a war breaks out for the first time in the country

where the Insured Person is staying, thereby taking him/her by surprise, the insurance protection remains in force for 14 days following the outbreak of the war;

– Accidents while carrying out a criminal act or offence; – Suicide, self-mutilation or the attempt to self-mutilate; – Accidents when using aircraft if the Insured Person deliberately breaches official provisions or does not have

the requisite official licences and authorisations or if she/he knew, or given the circumstances must have known, that the requisite licences and authorisations were not in place for the aircraft or its crew members

that she/he was using; – The effects of ionising rays, unless the ray treatment has been prescribed by a doctor as the result of an

insured event; – Accidents in foreign military service and participation in warlike actions; – Participation in acts of terrorism and gang crime; – Involvement in fights and brawls, unless the Insured Person was injured by the fighters without being involv-

ed or when trying to help another defenceless person; – Involvement in political unrest. The maximum benefit per aircraft (maximum liability) is CHF 15 million.

6. Insured benefits6.1 Transport and rescue costs: The necessary payments up to a maximum of CHF 60 000 are paid within a period of five years subsidiary and supplementary to an existing accident insurance for:

– All the travel and transport costs that arise subsequent to the accident in transporting the Insured Person to the place of treatment, however, only by aircraft if this is unavoidable on medical or technical grounds. Travel costs are not insured for persons who could reasonably be expected to walk;

– for rescue operations that are not illness-related and are for the benefit of the Insured Person; – for the recovery and transport of bodies to the place of burial; – for search actions that were undertaken to rescue or recover the Insured Person.

6.2 In the event of disability: If the Insured Person suffers a disability due to an insured accident, Zurich pays the Insured Person a disability

benefit. The disability benefit equals the percentage share of the agreed sum insured that corresponds to the level of disability (CHF 1 000 000). The level of disability is measured according to the appropriate provisions of the UVG and the associated ordinance on determining physical or mental impairment. The ascertainment of the level of disability must be carried out in Switzerland. The disability benefit is paid as soon as the level of the remaining disability can be determined.

6.3 In the event of death: If an Insured Person dies as the result of an insured accident, Zurich pays the agreed insurance sum (CHF 1 000 000).

For those Insured Persons who are not yet two years and six months old at the time of the accident, the death benefit equals a maximum of CHF 2 500 and for those who have not yet completed their 12th year of age, Zurich pays a maximum of CHF 20 000 from all the accident insurances that it holds. The following persons are entitled to benefits in this order:

– The surviving spouse or partner; in the absence of whom, the unmarried, unregistered, unrelated natural person (also same sex), who lived in the same household as the Cardholder in a marriage-like relationship without interruption over the last five years prior to the death;

– The direct descendants and natural persons for whose upkeep the deceased was mainly responsible; – The parents; – The siblings. If the Insured Person wishes to change the beneficiary arrangements, she/he must send a letter of application

that is dated and signed by the Insured Person to Würth Financial Services AG, 8902 Urdorf. If none of the beneficiaries listed exists, only funeral costs up to 10 % of the sum insured shall be paid.

6.4 Treatment costs: Treatment costs are not insured.

6.5 Maximum benefit: For each Insured Person and for one and the same accident the agreed sum shall be paid once only at most,

even if the Insured Person has more than one card or possesses more than one insurance confirmation.

7. Obligations in the case of an insured event If an accident is expected to trigger insurance benefits, a fully qualified doctor must be consulted as soon as

possible and specialist care must be sought. The Insured Person must comply with the instructions of the doc-tor providing treatment or of one of his/her auxiliaries. The Insured Person or the beneficiary is also obliged to comply with the clarification measures ordered by Zurich and to help acquire the information required for the provision of benefits (also from third parties). Furthermore, the Insured Person or the beneficiary must inform Zurich immediately of the event; in the case of death in such good time that it can order a post-mortem if reasons other than an accident are possible causes of the death.

8. Consequences in the event of conduct contrary to the terms of the contract If the Insured Person or the beneficiaries fulfil their obligations (the above-mentioned duties) in an insured

event in a grossly negligent manner, this will result in the partial or total withdrawal of insurance benefits; unless it can be proved that the violation of the contract should be considered unintentional due to the circumstances.

III Collective trip cancellation costs, trip interruption expenses, luggage and purchase protection insurance

A Common provisions for all four of the abovementioned insurance modules The Common provisions of all insurance modules are listed below.

1. Conditions of insurance coverage To ensure insurance coverage for cancellation costs, luggage and purchase insurance, at least 60 % of the travel

arrangements and/or insured item must have been paid for in advance by the Cardholder using his/her valid Platinum main card or a partner, second or additional card issued for the Viseca Platinum main card.

No insurance coverage exists if the card has been blocked or withdrawn by Viseca.

2. What happens if there are claims against third parties? If Zurich pays benefits which an Insured Person could also have claimed against third parties, the beneficiaries

shall assign such claims to Zurich.

3. What happens if there are claims from other insurance contracts? In the event of claims resulting from one and the same occurrence that are covered by other insurance con-

tracts, coverage shall only exist for the part of the benefit owed that the Insured Person cannot claim under another insurance contract (complementary coverage).

However, an advance on these benefits will be granted within the framework of the present insurance. The beneficiary must assign his/her claims up to the amount of the advance granted to one of the aforementioned benefit providers. This insurance does not provide benefits for deductibles in other insurance policies.

4. When is no insurance coverage provided? No benefits shall be paid for consequences in connection with the following: – Acts of war and terrorism, civil unrest of all kinds and measures taken against it as well as natural and

environmental disasters, epidemics, pandemics or nuclear accidents, irrespective of their cause Exceptions: exceptions are outlined in the travel cancellation and travel insurance cover. – Participation in races, rallies or similar competitive races or training events with motor vehicles, snowmobiles

or motorboats – Changes or cancellation of the program or the schedule of a booked trip by the service provider (tour opera-

tor, landlord, etc.) due to strikes, civil unrest of all kinds, natural disasters or epidemics – Insured events which occurred prior to conclusion of the contract or booking the trip or whose occurrence

was predictable for the Insured Person on conclusion of the contract or on booking the trip – Further exclusions are listed under the individual benefits.

5. What happens in the event of a claim? In the event of a claim, the Insured Person must: – Call Viseca Platinum Service Line without delay (tel. +41 (0)800 752 846). – Send all original documents together with the duly completed claims form (available at www.viseca.ch/

downloads or from Viseca Platinum Service Line by calling tel. +41 (0)800 752 846) to the address given in the claim’s form.

The following documents are required in the event of a claim. Cancellation costs/interruption costs: – Card number – Original receipt for the travel arrangements – Original expense receipt in the event of cancellation – Medical certificate or supporting document for the insured event

B Special provisions for the individual insurance modules The provisions for the individual insurance modules are listed in the following.

6. Travel cancellation costs6.1 Insurance coverage applies worldwide (including Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein).

6.2 What is insured? Booked vacation arrangements, booked journeys by air, train or ship, the rent for a holiday apartment, for a

hotel room, for a boat, car/motorcycle or camper van as well as language courses abroad.

6.3 What events are insured? Insurance coverage is granted if, prior to the journey, to the language course or to acceptance of the rental

property:6.3.1 An Insured Person or a person particularly close to him/her (such as family members, close relatives, fiancé(e)/

cohabiting partner, godparents, parents-in-law and their children) falls seriously ill, suffers a serious accident or dies;

6.3.2 Pregnancy complications prevent the Insured Person from travelling;6.3.3 The Insured Person does not wish to begin the journey alone because his/her travelling companion or a member

of his/her travelling companion’s family has become seriously ill, has suffered a serious accident or has died;6.3.4 An Insured Person’s property at home is severely affected by burglary, fire damage, water damage or damage

caused by natural hazards and his/her presence at home during the time of the planned journey is therefore essential;

6.3.5 An Insured Person’s personal documents which are indispensable for the journey are stolen and the theft is reported to the responsible police authority;

6.3.6 After the trip is booked, an Insured Person’s contract of employment is terminated unexpectedly by the em-ployer;

6.3.7 – Acts of war and terrorism without the use of atomic, biological or chemical weapons or agents, civil unrest of all kinds and measures taken against it as well as natural disasters (e.g. volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, seaquakes [tsunami]), epidemics and pandemics;

– Strikes; – Official measures (entry bans in the absence of a visa or other necessary entry documents are not regarded

as official measures); – Natural hazards (natural hazards include floods, inundation, gales (= winds in excess of 75 km/h which uproot

trees in the vicinity of the Insured Persons/property or remove the roofs from buildings)), hail, avalanches, snow pressure, rock slide, falling stones or landslides);

prevent an Insured Person or a person travelling with the Insured Person who booked the journey at the same time from embarking on the journey.

If an Insured Person is caught unaware by one of these events prior to departure, coverage shall exist for the cancellation costs, provided that the EDA (Eidg. Departement für auswärtige Angelegenheiten – Federal De-partment of Foreign Affairs) and/or the BAG (Bundesamt für Gesundheit – Federal Office of Public Health) did not advise against travel to this country at the time of booking.

If booked trips are changed or cancelled by the service provider (tour operator, airline, etc.), the benefit obliga-tion shall lapse for all benefits that are payable by the tour operator, airline, etc. on the basis of a law, treaty or contract.

If a warning had already been issued at the time of the booking, no insurance benefits shall be paid.6.3.8 The public transport used by the Insured Person to reach the airport or the station of departure on Swiss ter-

ritory is delayed or cancelled;6.3.9 The private vehicle or taxi used during the direct journey to the intended point of departure for the booked

travel arrangements becomes unroadworthy due to an accident or a breakdown.

6.4 What benefits are provided?6.4.1 If the insured event occurs prior to the journey, to the language course or to acceptance of the rental property,

the legally or contractually owed cancellation costs (incl. handling fees) will be refunded.

6.4.2 If the start of the journey is delayed, the provable costs for services connected with the stay not used up to the date of departure and the additional costs arising for a direct subsequent journey will be compensated.

6.5 What limits apply to benefits? The insurance benefits are limited to a maximum of CHF 20 000 per occurrence of loss.

6.6 When are no benefits paid? No benefits are paid for business trips. Self-employed persons must furnish proof of the private nature of a trip.

7. Travel interruption expenses7.1 Where is the insurance valid? Insurance coverage applies worldwide (including Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein).

7.2 Insured events affecting the Insured Person during travel Insurance coverage is provided if an Insured Person falls seriously ill, suffers a serious accident or dies during a

journey.

7.3 Insured events causing an interruption or termination of the journey Insurance coverage is provided if during a journey:7.3.1 An Insured Person must return home because a person particularly close to him/her (such as family members,

close relatives) falls seriously ill, suffers a serious accident or dies;7.3.2 Pregnancy complications prevent the Insured Person from further travel;7.3.3 An Insured Person’s property at home is severely affected by burglary, fire damage, water damage or damage

caused by natural hazards and his/her presence at home is essential;7.3.4 A traveler accompanying an Insured Person falls seriously ill and therefore terminates the journey or if such a

person suffers a serious accident or dies;7.3.5 – Acts of war and terrorism without the use of atomic, biological or chemical weapons or agents, civil unrest

of all kinds and measures taken against it as well as natural disasters (e.g. volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, seaquakes [tsunami]), epidemics, and pandemics;

– Strikes; – Natural hazards (natural hazards include floods, inundation, gales (= winds in excess of 75 km/h which uproot

trees in the vicinity of the Insured Persons/property or remove the roofs from buildings), hail, avalanches, snow pressure, rock slide, falling stones or landslides);

seriously imperil the life and property of the Insured Person or a person travelling with the Insured Person at the travel destination;

If the journey was begun despite the EDA (Eidg. Departement für auswärtige Angelegenheiten – Federal Department of Foreign Affairs) and/or the BAG (Bundesamt für Gesundheit – Federal Office of Public Health) advising against travel, the benefit obligation shall lapse if the departure takes place 24 hours after becoming aware of this recommendation.

If booked trips are changed or cancelled by the service provider (tour operator, airline, etc.), the benefit obliga-tion shall lapse for all benefits payable by the tour operator, airline, etc. on the basis of a law, treaty or contract.

7.3.6 Official measures or strikes prevent further travel or return. Entry bans in the absence of a visa or other neces-sary entry documents are not regarded as official measures.

7.3.7 If, after beginning a booked trip, the booked means of transport is delayed by at least 4 hours or can no longer be provided due to a breakdown or accident, or the insolvency of the operator of the booked means of trans-port, the additional travel costs incurred by the Insured Person shall be assumed up to a maximum of CHF 1 000 per person.

This does not include benefits that are payable by tour operators or carriers, etc. on the basis of a law, treaty or contract. No entitlement to benefits shall exist if an Insured Person is responsible for the delay.

In order to be entitled to claim the insurance benefit, the Insured Person must submit confirmation of the cancellation or delay by the carrier together with the original ticket and documentary evidence of the costs incurred.

7.4 What benefits are provided? The benefits consist of7.4.1 Return journey The additional costs for the return journey to the permanent residence. In respect of the type and class of the

means of transport, the means used shall form the basis;7.4.2 Partial non-usage of booked services If the journey is terminated early, the provable costs for the booked services not used from the date of the

insured event for the stay of each Insured Person travelling.

7.5 What limits apply to benefits? The insurance benefits are limited to a maximum of CHF 15 000 per occurrence of loss. 8. Luggage8.1 Where is the insurance valid? The insurance applies worldwide, outside of the Insured Person’s permanent residence, provided that the jour-

ney includes at least one demonstrable overnight stay.

8.2 What is insured? Luggage shall include all property which the Insured Persons take with them for personal use on a journey or

hand over to a transport company for transportation; costs of essential purchases arising from the late arrival of the luggage entrusted to a transport company (at least four hours).

8.3 What is not insured? The following are not insured: – Cash assets, i.e. money, securities, traveler’s checks, passbooks, precious metals (held as reserves, bullion or

merchandise), coins and medallions, unmounted gemstones and pearls, tickets, season tickets and flight tickets;

– Motor vehicles and trailers, motorcycles, caravans, mobile homes, each with accessories, and aircraft, flying equipment and flying objects of all kinds (including parachutes and hang gliders as well as model aircraft) for which liability insurance is prescribed by law.

– Business papers, business chattels, professional tools, merchandise and sample collections; – Pictures and other works of art, musical instruments, certificates, stamps and items of a predominantly

sentimental value; – Nautical vessels, each with accessories, with the exception of rubber dinghies, inflatables and rowing boats; – Prescription glasses and contact lenses; – Computer hardware such as organisers, notebooks, laptops and PCs, etc. as well as software and mobile

telephones; – Prosthetic aids and artificial limbs.

8.4 What events are insured? The insurance shall cover damage to luggage through sudden, unforeseen loss and damage.

8.5 What are the benefits and in which cases are they limited? – Luggage at the new replacement value at the time of the occurrence of loss up to CHF 5 000 per occurrence,

however not exceeding CHF 10 000 per year. Bicycles, skis and snowboards are only insured at the cash value. – Damage to furs, jewelry, items made of precious metal, cameras and film cameras as well as portable video

equipment, each with accessories, are covered in the event of an occurrence of loss up to a maximum total of 50 % of the sum insured, provided that the duties of care were observed.

– Costs of essential purchases at up to 10 % of the maximum sum insured per occurrence.

8.6 When are no benefits paid? No benefits are provided for: – Losses resulting from instructions given by the authorities; – Losses resulting from the influences of temperature and weather; – Losses caused by the actual nature of the property, natural wear and tear, inadequate packaging and vermin; – Losses caused by losing, mislaying or forgetting an item; – Losses caused through embezzlement and misappropriation; – Indirect losses such as necessary additional costs; – Losses caused through professional use of property; – Losses or damages due to breakage to sports equipment such as skis, snowboards, sledges, tennis rackets, etc.

during use; – Acts of God.

8.7 What deductible applies per occurrence? In the event of an occurrence of loss, the beneficiary must pay a CHF 200 deductible per occurrence. First of

all, the indemnifiable loss is calculated according to the insurance contract and the law; the deductible is then subtracted from this. Only then is the limit of indemnity applied.

8.8 Duty of care and obligations in the event of an occurrence of loss Furs, jewelry, items made of precious metal, cameras and film cameras as well as portable video equipment,

each with accessories, are only covered as long as they: – Are worn or used as intended; – Are kept safe and in personal care; – Jewelry is placed into safe storage in a hotel, inn or such like; – Are located in a duly locked room in a building or a passenger ship, in a locked motor vehicle, in a secure

interior room in a nautical vessel or in a supervised checkroom; jewelry and items made of precious metal but only if they are also stored in a locked receptacle that also affords increased safety against the removal of the receptacle.

Furs, cameras and film cameras as well as portable video equipment with respective accessories shall also be insured if handed over to a transport company or a checkroom in a duly locked receptacle that cannot be seen through.

The causes and extent of the loss must be determined and certified by the transport company, the tour or hotel management, the police or by the third party responsible.

Where the beneficiary is entitled to claim against the transport company or third party, he/she must assign such claims to Zurich up to the amount paid as indemnity by Zurich. He/She shall be obliged to provide Zurich with all the proof necessary for the pursuit of such claims, as long as he/she can be reasonably expected to obtain the information.

8.9 Loss assessment and calculation of compensation Both the beneficiary and Zurich may request the immediate ascertainment of the loss. The beneficiary must

document the loss amount. On request, a list of the items existing prior to and after the loss and affected by the loss must be prepared, specifying their value. The sum insured shall not constitute any proof of either the existence or the value of the insured property. The loss may be determined either by the parties themselves, by a joint assessor, or by means of an expert procedure.

The loss shall be calculated on the basis of the following: – In the case of damage, the cost of repairing the damaged items; – In the event of loss and total write-off, the replacement value at the time of the occurrence of loss; – In the case of films, image carriers, sound and data storage medium (if covered by insurance), only the mate-

rial value will be indemnified; – In the case of passports, ID cards, driver’s licenses and vehicle licenses as well as any similar documents, the

replacement value caused by an insured occurrence of loss; – The effective costs of essential purchases (limitation of compensation pursuant to sub-paragraph lll 8.5). The compensation is limited to the sum insured stated in the policy; any possible underinsurance will not be

taken into account.

8.10 When does the insurance benefit have to be repaid? In the event of the theft or loss of luggage, any property which is subsequently recovered shall be handed over to

Zurich or the compensation paid reimbursed by the beneficiary, minus an allowance for any possible decrease in value. 9. Purchase protection insurance9.1 Where is the insurance valid? Insurance applies worldwide for purchases paid for using a Platinum main card or a partner, second or ad-

ditional card for the Platinum main card issued by Viseca.

9.2 What is insured? Coverage extends to chattels purchased by an entitled holder of a valid Platinum main card or holder of a

partner, second or additional card issued for the Platinum main card (hereinafter referred to as the "Insured Person").

9.3 How long is the insurance valid? The insurance coverage shall commence once the item is handed over following purchase and last for 30 days,

including transport to the final place of destination.

9.4 What events are insured? The insurer shall pay compensation in the event of the destruction, damage, theft, burglary and robbery of the

insured property.

9.5 Restrictions Insurance coverage shall exist complementary to other existing insurances. Any claim for compensation within

the scope of this agreement shall only exist if the Insured Person has not actually received indemnification un-der any other insurances. If the indemnifiable loss exceeds the actual indemnity paid under other insurances, the beneficiary shall only be entitled to the portion which exceeds this amount.

9.6 What items and events are not insured? – Cash, checks, traveler’s checks and all other securities; – Animals and plants; – Food and semi-luxury goods, consumer goods (such as, for example, perfume, batteries, etc.); – Jewelry and watches, precious metals and gems in the luggage, insofar as they are not worn or used as

intended; – Stolen property, if the theft is not reported to the proper authorities within 48 hours following discovery and

no written theft report is submitted; – Items acquired through the fraudulent or improper use of the credit card; – Claims for which a third party is contractually responsible in its capacity as the manufacturer or seller or

resulting from a repair order; – Items that were not adequately protected; – Items where damage is attributable to normal wear and tear or inherent product defects, or where damage

occurred in the ordinary course of play (e.g. in the case of golf and tennis balls); – Loss and mislaying of items.

9.7 What limits apply to benefits (limit of indemnity)? The limit of indemnity corresponds to the amount stated on the monthly statement or the cash receipt, but

amounts to not more than CHF 1 000 per insured event and CHF 5 000 within a period of twelve months for all insured cardholders together.

PART B: CLIENT INFORMATION AGA INTERNATIONAL S.A., PARIS INFORMATION FOR THE INSURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH VVG

The following information for the insured provides a clear and concise overview of the identity of the Insurer and the most important points contained in the insurance contract (Art. 3 of the Swiss Federal law governing insurance contracts [VVG]).

1. Insurer The Insurer is AGA International S.A., Paris, Wallisellen branch, Switzerland (hereinafter AGA). The company

headquarter is at Hertistrasse 2, 8304 Wallisellen.

2. Policy holder The Policy Holder is Viseca Card Services SA (hereinafter Viseca) with company headquarter at Hagenholz- strasse 56, P.O. Box 7007, 8050 Zurich, represented by Würth Financial Services AG, Insurance broker, P.O. Box, 8800 Thalwil.

3. Insurance cover and scope of the insurance protection The insured risks and the scope of the insurance cover are set out in the insurance information and the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance.

4. Card and people covered by the insurance Based on the group insurance contract concluded with the Policy Holder, AGA offers the owner of a Viseca Platinum credit card and any additional persons in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance (AVB) insurance protection and a direct right of claim in association with the insurance benefits.

5. Important exclusions of the insurance cover – Events that had already occurred when the card was issued and/or when possession of the Viseca Platinum credit card was taken by the main card holder, or when booking the trip or that were discernible for the Insured Person when the card was issued and/or when possession of the Viseca Platinum credit card was taken or when booking the trip. – Events connected with epidemics or pandemics. – Events in connection with participation in risky actions where the individual is knowingly exposed to danger. This list contains only the most common exclusions. Further exclusions are set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance and the VVG.

6. Premium The premium is paid by the Policy Holder.

7. Duties of the Insured Persons – To fulfil their contractual and legal duties of notification, information and conduct in full (e.g. prompt noti- fication of a case of loss/damage to AGA). – To do all that they can to help minimise and clarify the loss/damage (e.g. authorising AGA to issue the relevant documents, information, etc. to third parties to clarify the case of loss/damage). This list contains only the most common duties. Further duties are set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance and the VVG.

8. Beginning and end of the insurance cover Insurance cover begins with the issuance of the Viseca Platinum credit card by Viseca and the taking possession thereof by the main card holder and ends with the expiry of the Viseca Platinum credit card and/or with the termination of the credit card contract (termination by Viseca or the main card holder) or with the termination of the group insurance contract between Viseca and AGA.

9. Handling of personal data As the Policy Holder, Viseca does not give client data pertaining to the insured (card holders) to AGA or to Würth Financial Services AG upon the conclusion of a credit card contract. However, Viseca is entitled to give AGA and Würth Financial Services those client data required to process the contract and any claims in the case of an insured event reported by the Insured Person or in the case of fundamental enquiries or applications in connection with the insurance contract (in particular personal details such as the type and duration of the credit card contract). AGA handles information that arises from the contractual documents or the processing of the contract and uses this in particular to establish the premium, clarify risk, process benefit cases, and for statistical evaluations and marketing purposes. The information is stored physically or electronically. If necessary, the data is passed to involved third parties, such as other insurance companies, authorities, lawyers and external experts, to the extent needed. Data may also be passed on in order to reveal or prevent the misuse of insurance.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF INSURANCE

The AGA International S.A. (hereinafter AGA) assumes liability for the benefits agreed according to the collective insurance contract with Viseca Card Services AG (hereinafter Viseca) and listed in this insurance document. These benefits are defined by the General Terms and Conditions of Insurance (AVB) and supplemented by the provisions of the Swiss Federal law on insurance contracts (VVG).

I Common provisions relating to all components of insurance and/or service benefits

The Common provisions for all the components of the insurance and/or service benefits apply only to the extent that there are no contrary provisions in the special provisions governing the individual components of the insurance and/or service benefits.

1. Insured Persons The following persons are insured: – Cardholder (main and additional card holder) of a valid Viseca Platinum credit card (hereinafter Insured or

Insured Person); – Spouse living in the same household and/or the insured’s registered partner, in the absence of whom, the

insurance coverage is valid for that person living in the same household in a marriage-like relationship; – Unmarried children with a right to maintenance living in the same household until completion of their 25th

year of age.

2. Geographical scope The insurance coverage is valid worldwide to the extent that there are no contrary provisions regarding the

geographical scope in the special provisions governing the individual components of the insurance and/or service benefits.

3. Beginning, term and basic prerequisites of insurance cover 3.1 Insurance cover begins with the issuance of the Viseca Platinum credit card by Viseca and the taking possession

thereof by the main card holder and ends with the expiry of the Viseca Platinum credit card and/or with the termination of the credit card contract (termination by Viseca or the main card holder).

3.2 Insurance cover applies to private trips only. In order for the Insured Person to be eligible for insurance benefits in the case of an insured event, in addition to any further duties in accordance with Clause I 4. and the duties listed in the ”Special provisions governing the individual components of the insurance and/or service benefits”, she/he must be able to provide the following cumulative evidence at the time of the insured event:

– Evidence that the trip and/or the insured object was 100 % paid for by the Insured Person using his/her Viseca Platinum main or additional credit card and/or the associated partner card (credit card receipt or monthly credit card statement);

– Proof of a valid credit card contract between the Insured Person and Viseca (credit card number); – Upon request, evidence of the private nature of the trip.

3.3 The loss or blocking and/or renewal of the Viseca Platinum credit card does not interrupt insurance cover.

4. Obligations in the event of loss/damage4.1 The Insured Person is obliged to undertake everything in his/her power to limit the damage and to clarify its

provenance.

4.2 The Insured Person has a duty to undertake in full his/her contractual or legal obligations with regard to noti-fication, information or conduct (including immediate notification of the insured event to the contact address specified in the Common provisions).

4.3 If the loss/damage has arisen as a result of illness or injury, the Insured Person must ensure that the medical personnel providing treatment are freed from their duty of confidentiality with regard to AGA.

4.4 If the Insured Person is also able to assert claims for which AGA has furnished provisions against third parties, she/he must safeguard these claims and cede them to AGA.

4.5 The following documents (in addition to the documents listed under Clause 1 3.2) must be made available to AGA at the contact address specified in the Common provisions (according to insured event):

– Transport tickets (airline/rail tickets), admission tickets, receipts, etc. in the original – Receipts for unforeseen costs in the original – Booking confirmation – Documents and/or official certificates that confirm the onset of the ailment (e.g. detailed medical report

with diagnosis, doctor’s report, employer’s certificate, police report, accident report, proof of lack of snow, etc.)

– Copy of passport with immigration stamp – Copy of driving licence – Invoices for costs of medical personnel, medical products and hospitals, plus doctor’s prescriptions in the

original – Invoices for the insured additional costs in the original – Record of the facts of the case – Missing persons notification for EDA – Proof of delay by airline and/or transport company – Rental agreement – Copy of driving licence – Repair bill (original)

5. Violation of obligations If the person with the entitlement to claim violates his/her obligations, AGA can refuse or reduce its benefits.

6. Non-insured events6.1 If an event has already occurred when the card is issued and/or when possession of the Viseca Platinum credit

card is taken by the main card holder, or when booking the trip or if it was discernible for the Insured Person when the card was issued and/or when possession of the Viseca Platinum credit card was taken or when book-ing the trip, there is no entitlement to benefits.

6.2 Events brought about by the Insured Person as follows are not insured: – Misuse of alcohol, drugs or medication – Suicide or attempted suicide – Participation in strikes or civil unrest – Participation in competitions and training sessions with motor vehicles or boats – Participation in actions involving risks, where the individual knowingly exposes him/herself to danger – Grossly negligent or premeditated action/omission – Commitment of a crime and/or offence or the intention to do so

6.3 The insurance does not cover activities related to an insured event, e.g. costs of replacement of the insured items or for police-related matters.

6.4 The insurance does not cover the following events and their consequences: war, terrorist attacks, unrest of any kind, epidemics, pandemics, natural catastrophes and incidents involving atomic, biological or chemical substances.

6.5 The insurance does not cover the consequences of events caused by official decrees such as the seizure of assets, imprisonment or a ban on leaving the country.

6.6 If the purpose of the trip is for medical treatment as an in-patient.

6.7 If the certifier (expert, doctor, etc.) is a direct beneficiary or is related to the Insured Person by blood or by marriage.

6.8 The insurance does not cover costs relating to kidnappings.

7. Definitions7.1 Closely connected persons Closely connected persons are: – Family members (spouse, parents, children, parents-in-law, grandparents and siblings)

– Life partner and his/her parents and children – Carers of underage children or relatives who are in need of care and are not travelling – Very close friends with whom there is intensive contact

7.2 Europe The European area of application includes all the nations on the continent of Europe plus the Mediterranean

and Canary Islands, Madeira and the nations that border the Mediterranean but are outside Europe. The east-ern border north of Turkey is formed by Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia together with the Ural mountain range.

7.3 Switzerland The Swiss area of application covers Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

7.4 Damage due to natural forces Damage due to natural forces covers loss or damage that is caused by natural events such as high tide, floods,

storms (winds of at least 75 km/h), hail, avalanches, snow pressure, rockslides, falling rocks or landslides. Dam-age caused by earthquakes or volcanic eruptions is not deemed to be damage due to natural forces.

7.5 Monetary assets Monetary assets are cash, credit cards, securities, savings books, precious metals (held in storage, in the form of bullion or merchandise) coins, medallions, loose precious stones and pearls.

7.6 Trip A trip includes either an outward and return flight or at least one overnight stay away from the usual place of residence, together with an outward and return trip and lasts for a maximum of 90 days.

7.7 Travel company A travel company (tour operators, travel agents, airline companies, car hire companies, hotels, organisers of

courses, etc.) includes any company that, based on a contract, provides travel services with and for the Insured Person.

7.8 Public conveyance or means of transport A public conveyance or means of transport is a method of transport that travels regularly based on a timetable

and for which a ticket has to be purchased. Taxis and hired vehicles do not fall under the term of public means of transport.

7.9 Breakdown A breakdown is a sudden and unforeseen failure of the insured vehicle due to an electrical or mechanical

defect, which makes it impossible to continue the trip, or which would make it illegal to continue the trip. The following are also deemed to be breakdowns: defective tyres, lack of petrol, vehicle keys locked in the vehicle or flat battery. Lost or damaged vehicle keys or incorrect fuel are not deemed to be a breakdown and are not insured.

7.10 Personal injury A personal injury is the sudden, unintended harmful effect of an unusual external factor on the human body.

7.11 Motor vehicle accident A motor vehicle accident is the sudden, unintended harmful effect of a powerful external factor on the motor

vehicle, which makes it impossible to continue the trip, or which would make it illegal to continue the trip. In particular this includes events caused by impact, collision, overturning, crashing, subsidence and immersion.

7.12 Severe illness/severe consequences of injury Illness and/or the consequences of injury are defined as severe if they result in a temporary or permanent

incapacity for work or the total inability to travel.

8. Complementary clause8.1 If the Insured Person is entitled to benefits under a different insurance contract (voluntary or compulsory

insurance) the cover is limited to that part of the AGA benefits that exceeds the cover provided by the other insurance contract. Overall costs will only be reimbursed one single time.

8.2 If AGA has nevertheless provided benefits for the same loss/damage, these shall be regarded as an advance payment and the Insured Person shall cede his/her entitlement to claim against a third party (third-party, voluntary or compulsory insurance) to AGA to the same extent.

9. Period of limitation The period of limitation for claims resulting from the insurance contract is 2 years from the time of the event

upon which the duty to provide the benefit is based.

10. Hierarchy of standards The ”Special Provisions relating to the individual components of insurance” take precedence over the ”Com-

mon provisions relating to all the components of insurance”.

11. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction11.1 Actions against AGA may be filed in the court at the company’s headquarters, or at the Swiss place of residence

of the Insured Person or the person with an entitlement to claim.

11.2 The Swiss Federal law on insurance contracts (VVG) is applied as a supplement to these provisions.

II Special provisions relating to the individual components of insurance

A Price protection insurance

1. Amounts insured The amounts insured are set out in the insurance summary, p. 6/7.

2. Insurance benefits If the insured individual, in the course of 14 days after the purchase date, learns, in accordance with Article II

A 3, with regard to the insured object that an identical object (identical model, identical features and range of benefits, identical model number) is offered for more than CHF 30 cheaper, AGA will refund the insured individual, having regard to the agreed amount insured, the confirmed difference in the amount between the price actually paid and the proven cheaper quoted price, provided that both the seller of the object obtained by the insured individual as well as that of the proven cheaper quoted price are commercial suppliers with head-quarters in Switzerland (e.g. shop, mail order company, Internet provider, etc.) or that both the insured object as well as the cheaper offered object are offered for sale in/for Switzerland, and neither the insured object nor the more cheaply offered object is/are goods from a disposal arising from the liquidation of a business.

3. Insured goods Moveable objects for personal use, which were purchased by an insured individual using a valid Viseca Platinum

credit card (including partner, secondary or additional cards) are insured.

4. Insured events Price difference of more than CHF 30 between the price actually paid by the insured individual and the proven cheaper quoted price, provided that both the seller of the object obtained by the insured individual as well as

that of the proven cheaper quoted price are commercial suppliers with headquarters in Switzerland (e.g. shop, mail order company, Internet provider, etc.) or that both the insured object as well as the cheaper offered ob-ject are offered for sale in/for Switzerland, and neither the insured object nor the more cheaply offered object is/are goods from a disposal arising from the liquidation of a business.

5. Restrictions in the insurance event (in addition to Article I 4. Obligations in the event of loss/damage) The following documents relating to the incident must (in addition to the documents referred to in Article I 3)

– Original proof of purchase documents, on which the purchase price and the date of purchase are clearly visible; – Proof of the difference in price (e.g. clear advertising leaflet, flyer, insert, confirmation, etc.).

6. Not insured events and goods (in addition to Article I 6 Restrictions to insurance cover) – mobile communication devices; – medical devices (e.g. glasses, medical equipment, prostheses, medical accessories); – used and second-hand goods; – motor vehicles.

B Assistance

1. Insured sums The sums insured are set out in the overview of insurance benefits, pages 6/7.

2. Insured events and benefits The AGA emergency call centre is available round the clock (conversations with the emergency call centre are

recorded): Phone +41 44 283 34 18/Fax +41 44 283 33 33. In the case of medical benefits, the AGA Assistance doctors have the sole right to decide upon the type and

timing of the measure undertaken. The following benefits must be requested by telephone through the AGA emergency call centre in every case: Assistance benefits2.1 Repatriation with medical care to a hospital at the place of residence If the Insured Person becomes severely ill or is severely injured during the trip or if a medically certified,

unexpected worsening of a chronic illness occurs, AGA Assistance will organise and pay for repatriation with medical care to a hospital suitable for the relevant treatment at the place of residence of the Insured Person, if this is required on medical grounds.

2.2 Repatriation without medical care to place of residence Based on an appropriate medical diagnosis and the prerequisites of Clause II C 2.1, AGA Assistance will organise

and pay for repatriation without accompaniment of medical carers to the place of residence of the Insured Person.

3. Non-insured events and benefits (as a supplement to Clause I 6: Non-insured events)3.1 Failure of agreement by the AGA emergency call centre If the AGA emergency call centre has not agreed in advance to the benefits.

3.2 Interruption by the travel company If the travel company cannot fulfil the contractual benefits in full or in part, or cancels the trip or would be

forced to cancel it as a result of the actual circumstances and has to reimburse the costs of services not pro-vided and/or the costs of return travel on statutory grounds. The actual circumstances due to which the trip would have to be cancelled include advice from the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) against travel to the affected area.

4. Obligations in the event of loss/damage (as a supplement to Clause I 4.: Obligations in the event of loss/damage)

In order to be able to claim AGA Assistance benefits, the AGA emergency call centre must be informed im-mediately of the event or ailment: Phone +41 44 283 34 18/Fax +41 44 283 33 33.

C Delayed flight

1. Insurance sums The amounts insured are set out in the insurance summary, pages 6/7. 2. Insured event and benefit2.1 If a flight connection between two flights is missed due to a delay of at least six hours for which the first airline

company is solely responsible, AGA pays the additional costs (hotel costs, rebooking costs, telephone expenses) for the trip to be resumed.

2.2 If the departure of the flight is delayed by more than six hours, AGA pays the additional costs (costs of hotel and meals, telephone expenses) that are incurred by the Insured Person during the period between the origi-nally planned and the actual flight departure, insofar as these were paid for using the Viseca credit card.

3. Non-insured events (as a supplement to Clause I 6: Non-insured events) If the Insured Person is him/herself responsible for the delay.

4. Obligations in the event of loss/damage (as a supplement to Clause I 4: Obligations in the event of loss/damage)

In order to be able to claim AGA benefits, the person entitled to benefits must inform AGA in writing of the occurrence of the insured event as soon as she/he returns to Switzerland.

D Private medical health insurance for foreign travel

1. Insured Persons The Insured Persons pursuant to Clause I 1, insofar as they have not exceeded their 80th year of age.

2. Insurance sums2.1 The amounts insured are set out in the insurance summary, pages 6/7.

2.2 A deductible of CHF 50 is levied per person and per insured event.

3. Scope3.1 The insurance is valid for trips throughout the world, with the exception of Switzerland and the Principality of

Liechtenstein and/or the valid country of domicile of the Insured Person, insofar as the permanent residence of the Insured Person is not in Switzerland or in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

3.2 The insurance cover is valid for trips of up to 90 days (with an annual limit of a maximum of 120 days).

3.3 The costs of medical and hospital treatment are paid abroad up to 90 days after the agreed period of insurance, insofar as the illness or injury occurred during the period of insurance.

4. Insurance benefits AGA provides the benefits as follow-up insurance to the statutory social insurances in Switzerland (health care

insurance, accident insurance, etc.) and as possible supplementary insurances for emergency hospitalisation and emergency out-patient treatment costs that are not completely covered by these.

4.1 In the event of an accident or an illness, AGA pays the emergency costs for the following medical treatments in the country being visited, insofar as the emergency medical intervention was prescribed by a fully qualified doctor or dentist and/or a person with the corresponding authorisation to practice.

– Medical treatments including medication – Hospitalisation – Treatment by a federally authorised chiropodist – The hire of medical aids – In the event of an accident, the initial procurement of prostheses, glasses, hearing aids, etc. – Repair or replacement of medical aids, if these were damaged in an accident that required treatment by a doctor – Transport to the nearest hospital appropriate for the treatment – Dental treatment up to a maximum of CHF 300, dental treatment due to an accident up to a max. of CHF 3 000.

4.2 Under the proviso that the doctors in the AGA emergency call centre have expressly agreed this in advance, AGA also pays the emergency treatment costs for in-patient hospitalisation in a private ward. In every case, the authorisation for treatment in a private ward must be requested by telephone through the AGA emergency call centre (calls to the emergency call centre are recorded): Phone +41 44 283 34 18/Fax +41 44 283 33 33.

4.3 Limits to benefits and exclusion from benefits 4.3.1 If there is no Swiss health or accident insurance coverage, AGA pays only 50 % of the total costs of the hospi-

tal and out-patient treatment that would exceed the mandatory portion of the Swiss health insurance or ac-cident insurance, insofar as these costs are due to illness or accident, up to the amount of the insured sum. An invoice must be presented for these hospital/treatment costs. Further benefits are not provided in this case.

4.3.2 In the event of an accident or an illness AGA pays the emergency treatment costs in a private ward exclusively only up until the point when, in the opinion of the doctors of the AGA emergency call centre alone, repatria-tion and/or the return trip of the Insured Person is possible.

4.3.3 Without the prior express agreement of the doctors in the AGA emergency call centre there is no entitlement to benefits with regard to the payment and/or reimbursement of treatment costs in a private ward.

4.3.4 Authorisation for treatment in a private ward in accordance with Clause II C 4.2 is given and/or refused by the doctors of the AGA emergency call centre as they see fit, taking into account the local medical conditions of the country being visited and after weighing up the medical necessity and/or reasonableness of the treatment to be carried out. If the Insured Person is treated in a private ward without the authorisation of the doctors in the AGA emergency call centre and/or against their express instructions to use a general ward, this is then the sole responsibility of the Insured Person who is liable for the cost.

5. Insured events Accidents and illnesses that require emergency medical intervention.

6. Non-insured events (as a supplement to Clause I 6: Non-insured events)6.1 Accidents and illnesses that have already occurred at the beginning of the insurance and their consequences,

complications, deterioration or relapse, in particular chronic and recurrent illnesses independent of whether they were already known to the Insured Person at the beginning of the insurance.

6.2 Investigations and treatment of jaw diseases.

6.3 Investigations and treatment of states of tiredness and exhaustion as well as nervous or mental illnesses.

6.4 Investigations and treatment of cancer-related illnesses including health checks.

6.5 Gynaecological and paediatric or general check-ups.

6.6 Prophylactic medication, sleeping pills, tranquillisers, vitamins, homeopathic remedies, vaccinations, first-aid boxes, amphetamines, hormones and cholesterol reducing medication.

6.7 Pregnancy, termination and birth as well as all complications and the consequences of contraceptive or abor-tive measures.

6.8 Accidents driving a motor vehicle, if the Insured Person does not fulfil the statutory licence requirements.

6.9 Accidents whilst carrying out a manual profession.

6.10 Accidents when parachute jumping as well as piloting airplanes and aircraft.

6.11 Massage and wellness treatments as well as cosmetic surgery.

6.12 Accidents during military service.

6.13 Maintenance costs with regard to statutory social security franchises (care insurance, accident insurance, etc.) and possible supplementary insurances are not paid.

7. Confirmation of payment of costs7.1 AGA provides confirmation that it will pay costs as part of this insurance and as a follow-up to the statutory

social insurances (health care insurance, accident insurance, or similar insurance to that of the country in which the Insured Person has his/her main residence or main health insurance) and possibly supplementary insurance for all in-patient hospitalisations. The Insured Person must pay for all out-patient treatments in the country being visited (doctor’s fees, etc.).

7.2 In every case, the confirmation of payment must be requested by telephone through the AGA emergency call centre (calls to the emergency call centre are recorded): Phone +41 44 283 34 18/Fax +41 44 283 33 33.

8. Obligations in the event of loss/damage (as a supplement to Clause I 4: Obligations in the event of loss/damage)8.1 AGA must be informed in writing immediately of the occurrence of the insured event (see contact address p. 4).

8.2 In every case, the Insured Person must undergo a medical examination by the company-appointed doctor if AGA should request this.

E Vehicle Assistance

1. Insured vehicles The motor vehicle that the Insured Person is authorised to drive in Switzerland, in the Principality of Liech-

tenstein or in a country belonging to the European Union (private car and mobile home up to 3.5 tonnes and motorbikes).

2. Scope The insurance cover is valid for events in Europe excluding Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and/or

the valid country of domicile of the Insured Person. In the event of sea crossings the insurance cover is not inter-rupted if the departure and arrival ports fall within the valid locations.

3. Sums insured The amounts insured are set out in the insurance summary, pages 6/7.

4. Insured events and benefits All vehicle assistance benefits must be requested by telephone through the AGA Assistance call centre in every

case (calls to the AGA Assistance call centre are recorded): Phone +41 44 283 34 18.4.1 Breakdown/towing away/rescue a) If the vehicle is no longer roadworthy due to a breakdown or an accident, AGA Assistance organises the

breakdown service at the location of the event or organises for the car to be towed to the nearest approp- riate garage.

b) The costs of rescue following an accident (return of vehicle to the road) are insured up to CHF 2 000.

4.2 Accommodation/return journey/hire car4.2.1 If the vehicle cannot be repaired on the same day or if, following a theft, the return or continued journey is

not possible on the same day, AGA Assistance organises and pays for a maximum of 5 overnight stays in the foreign country of up to CHF 100 per occupant and night up to a total of CHF 1 000, or

4.2.2 Return journey The return journey of all the occupants to the place of residence of the Insured Person using public transport

(Switzerland: first-class railway ticket/abroad: first-class railway ticket or economy airline ticket, if the railway journey is more than 6 hours). If the return journey to Switzerland is made by taxi as there is no public trans-port available, the compensation of these costs is a maximum of CHF 300, or

4.2.3 Hire car In the case of events abroad AGA Assistance organises and pays for a hire car for the continued or return

journey for a maximum of 5 days and up to a maximum of CHF 1 000. Petrol costs and ancillary costs are not paid. The Insured Person undertakes to fulfil the contractual provisions of the hire car company.

4.3 Taxi costs If any taxi costs are incurred in connection with an insured event pursuant to Clause II E 4.2, AGA Assistance

will pay these up to a maximum of CHF 100 per event.

4.4 Return of vehicle If the vehicle cannot be repaired abroad within 48 hours, AGA Assistance organises and pays for the return

of the no longer roadworthy vehicle or the vehicle that has been found to the nearest garage at the place of residence of the Insured Person. In the event of return transportation from abroad, the transport costs are paid only if they are lower than the current value of the vehicle after the event. If the vehicle is not returned to Switzerland, AGA organises the disposal of it and pays the customs.

4.5 Return with chauffeur If the Insured Person, who is also the driver, becomes severely ill, is seriously injured or dies and no other

accompanying person can drive the car, AGA Assistance organises and pays for the chauffeur-driven return journey of the remaining passengers and the vehicle to the place of residence of the Insured Person.

4.6 Delivery of spare parts abroad If the necessary spare parts cannot be sourced by the nearby, appropriate garage after the event, AGA Assistance

organises and pays for immediate delivery as far as possible. The costs for the replacement parts are not insured.

5. Non-insured events (as a supplement to Clause I 6: Non-insured events)5.1 If AGA Assistance has not granted its permission to the benefits pursuant to Clause II E 4: Insured events and

benefits in advance.

5.2 The benefits pursuant to Clause II E 4.2 can only be claimed if the breakdown service and/or towing away in accordance with Clause II E 4.1 has been organised in advance by AGA Assistance.

5.3 If at the time of the event the vehicle is in a condition that does not meet the valid provisions of the Highway Code, or if the maintenance work recommended by the manufacturer was not carried out.

5.4 Breakdowns and accidents that occur on private roads or unofficial roads.

5.5 Breakdowns and accidents that occur on trips that are prohibited by law or forbidden by the authorities.

5.6 If the vehicle in question is used for commercial purposes or if it is a hire car.

5.7 If the event was caused by vandalism or natural forces.

5.8 Damage to the vehicle and the goods being transported plus all consequential costs are not insured.

5.9 The costs of repairs and spare parts are not insured.

5.10 AGA Assistance is not liable for loss/damage that is caused by one of its mandated service providers.

6. Obligations in the event of loss/damage (as a supplement to Clause I 4: Obligations in the event of loss/damage)

6.1 In order to be able to claim AGA Assistance benefits, the AGA Assistance call centre must be informed imme-diately upon the occurrence of the event: Phone +41 44 283 34 18/Fax +41 44 283 33 33.

6.2 Claims for loss/damage to the insured vehicle that was caused by a service provider mandated by AGA Assistance in connection with the insured event must be presented directly to the service provider and/or perpetrator.

F Home Assistance

1. Scope The insurance covers the apartment and/or house occupied by the Insured Person and that serves as his/her

place of residence in Switzerland or in the Principality of Liechtenstein for the term of the insurance.

2. Insured sums The amounts insured are set out in the insurance summary, pages 6/7.

3. Insured events and benefits All Home Assistance benefits must be requested by telephone through the AGA Assistance call centre in every

case (calls to the AGA Assistance call centre are recorded): Phone +41 44 283 34 18.3.1 Emergency assistance at place of residence If, during a trip paid for by the Insured Person with his/her Viseca credit card in accordance with Clause I 3,

serious damage occurs to/in the apartment of the Insured Person due to burglary, fire or flood, AGA Assistance will, upon the directions of the Insured Person, take the steps necessary to protect and maintain the goods and will provide an advance of a maximum of CHF 10 000 for this purpose. The sum advanced must be repaid to AGA Assistance within 30 days of completing the trip.

3.2 House keys In the event of the loss or theft of the Insured Person’s house keys during or in connection with the trip, AGA

Assistance will pay the costs of a locksmith up to a maximum of CHF 150.

G Fully comprehensive hire car insurance

1. Insured vehicles1.1 The private car (hire car) hired and paid for by the Insured Person abroad using his/her Viseca Platinum credit

card, driven by the Insured Person (entered in the rental contract as the named driver), with the proviso that the Insured Person is at least 21 and at most 80 years old and owns a driving licence that is valid for the cat-egory of vehicle hired. The insurance cover is limited to one private car hired by the Insured Person at a time.

1.2 Hired cars within the meaning of these provisions means private cars licensed for use on public thoroughfares (licensed to carry up to nine passengers) that are hired on a daily or weekly basis from a licensed hire car com-pany.

2. Scope Insurance cover is provided worldwide with the exception of Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein,

Israel and Jamaica as well as the country of domicile of the Insured Person for the term stated in the rental contract, but for 31 days at most.

3. Insured sums3.1 The amounts insured are set out in the insurance summary, pages 6/7.

3.2 A deductible of CHF 400 is levied per fully comprehensive insured event.

4. Insured events and benefits4.1 AGA compensates the Insured Person up to the amount listed in the overview of the insurance benefits, less the

benefits from third parties pursuant to Clause I 8. 1 for replacement claims that the hire car company makes against the Insured Person as the driver (entered in the rental contract as the named driver) of the insured hire car, due to

4.1.1 property damage to the hire car due to damage, fire, deliberate damage by third parties (vandalism);4.1.2 theft of the hire car including its tyres and other accessories;4.1.3 downtime of the hire car;4.1.4 claims due to a loss of revenue by the hire car agency/company resulting from the above-mentioned damage or loss.

4.2 Unused hire time If the Insured Person rented the hire car for more than seven days and is unable to drive the car during the

contractually agreed hire period due to being hospitalised for more than 24 hours or due to bed rest prescribed by a doctor and no other person is authorised to drive the hire car in accordance with the contract, AGA reimburses the hire costs for every unused day (always 24 full hours) to a maximum of CHF 40 per day up to a maximum of CHF 500.

4.3 Return costs If the hire car cannot be returned in good time at the end of the rental period because the Insured Person, as

the only authorised driver, was hospitalised due to an accident or sudden illness, the Insured Person will be compensated all the return costs that are levied by the hire car company up to a maximum of CHF 500.

4.4 Locksmith’s fees/replacement keys In the event of the Insured Person being unintentionally locked out of the hire car, AGA pays the costs for

opening the hire car (without further damage to the car) up to a maximum of CHF 100. The hire car company must authorise the use of the locksmith in advance. The Insured Person must keep all the receipts and present them to AGA in order that the reimbursement of costs may be authorised. In the event that this procedure is not observed, AGA is entitled to reduce or refuse insurance benefits.

5. Non-insured events (as a supplement to Clause I 6: Non-insured events) The insurance does not cover damage5.1. to vehicles that are over 20 years old or have not been produced for more than 10 years;

5.2 to vehicles the value of which exceeds the insurance sums given in the insurance overview;

5.3 that was caused directly or indirectly through revolts, civil unrest, warlike events, terrorist attacks, or confisca-tion, seizure, damage or destruction by government bodies;

5.4 that arise from the fact that the Insured Person ignored the instructions for maintenance or use of the hire car

5.5 caused by wear and tear, obsolescence, insects or vermin;

5.6 caused by the consumption of alcohol, insofar as the blood alcohol level at the time of the insured event was above the legal driving limit of the country in which the authorised driver was staying at the time;

5.7 caused by the influence of other intoxicating substance on the driver (e.g. drugs);

5.8 if the hire car was used for another purpose than the one named in the rental contract.

H Collision Damage Waiver

1. Insured vehicle The insurance covers the vehicle rented by the insured using his/her Visa Platinum credit card in accordance with

the overview of benefits on pages 6 and 7 (excluding any deposits booked by the rental firm), up to an overall weight of 3 500 kg. Vehicles with an overall weight of over 3 500 kg, taxis and driving school vehicles are not insured.

2. Area of application The insurance applies worldwide. The insurance cover starts on the date entered for that purpose in the booking confirmation/rental contract and ends on the date given for that purpose in the booking confirmation/rental contract, at the latest, however, with

the return of the vehicle to the rental firm. The insurance cover applies to damages that are caused during the duration of the contract.

4. Insurance benefits The insurance serves as additional insurance for rental vehicles. In the event of a claim, AGA compensates the

insured individual for the damage collision waiver of the rental firm (or of another insurance policy). The level of the insurance benefit, which depends on the current excess, is however limited to the maximum amount insured.

5. Insured events The excess that arises on the basis of damage to the rental vehicle or on the basis of the theft of the rental vehicle

during the rental period is insured. The condition for compensation is an excess arising from an incident covered by another insurance policy and the resulting excess. In the event that the insured damage amounts to less than the amount of the excess, then AGA shall take over the damage, insofar as it relates to an insured event.

6. Restrictions to the insurance cover (in addition to Article I 6: Non-insured events) – Damages, for which the supplementary insurance provides no excess. – Damages on the grounds of gross negligence on the part of the driver. – When the vehicle driver causes the damage in an inebriated state (in excess of the legal per mille limit of the

country in question), under influence of drugs or medicines. – Damages arising from a breach of the contract with regard to the car rental firm are not covered. – Damage that does not occur on the public road or occur on unofficial roads (with the exception of entrances

to parking places or hotel premises) is not covered. – Damage to caravans and other types of trailers is not covered.

7. Obligations in insured events (in addition to Article I 4: Obligations in the event of loss/damage) – The insured individual is required to comply fully with his contractual or legal obligations regarding present-

ing himself, disclosure or behaviour. – In the event of damages, immediately call the Viseca Platinum Service Line on +41 (0)800 752 846. – All original documents relating to the damages are, in the event of a claim, (in addition to the documents

referred to in Article I 4) to be sent with a completed claim form (obtainable at www.viseca.ch/downloads or by calling the Viseca Platinum Service Line on +41 (0)800 752 846), to the address given on the claim form.

– If the insured individual can show that benefits provided by AGA also apply in relation to third parties, he must respect these claims and forward them to AGA.

J Snow Comfort

1. Insured sums The amounts insured are set out in the insurance summary, pages 6/7.

2. Scope The insurance is valid worldwide.

3. Insured events and benefits3.1 Loss and delayed delivery of winter sports equipment If the winter sports equipment belonging to the Insured Person (skis, snowboards and accessories) are taken

with him/her on an insured trip and given to a public transport company for transportation, in the event of the loss or late delivery of the sports equipment (more than 12 hours), AGA pays the costs of the necessary hire of corresponding replacement winter sports equipment up to the maximum amount listed in the overview of benefits per person and day up to a maximum of CHF 700 per person and trip.

3.2 Limited service of normal means of transport If the Insured Person has to pay additional, unplanned travel and/or accommodation costs during an insured

trip due to the cancellation or the limited service of the normal means of transport caused by avalanches and/or landslides, AGA pays these costs up to the maximum amount listed in the overview of benefits per person and day up to a maximum of CHF 350 per person and trip.

3.3 Lack of snow If the Insured Person cannot ski or snowboard as planned during an insured trip at his/her booked holiday resort

because the winter sports lift facilities required (not short-distance and transport lifts) are closed for more than 24 hours due to lack of snow, AGA pays the additional transport and ski pass costs that arise for the continu-ation of the winter sports in a holiday resort of the same category, or, if there is no appropriate alternative available, the share of the costs for the unused part of the original ski or lift pass up to the maximum amount given in the overview of benefits per person and day, up to a maximum of CHF 500 per person and trip.

3.4 Unused ski or lift pass due to accident or illness If the Insured Person is proven to be unable to use the original ski or lift pass due to an accident or illness dur-

ing the insured trip (medical certificate from a practicing doctor at the holiday resort), AGA pays the propor-tion of the costs for that part of the ski or lift pass that could not be used.

4. Non-insured events (as a supplement to Clause I 6: Non-insured events)4.1 If the Insured Person is him/herself responsible for the delay.

4.2 Seizure or confiscation by customs authorities or another government body.

4.3 Lack of snow in the northern hemisphere between 1 April and 31 October and in the southern hemisphere between 1 October and 30 April.

4.4 Closure of the ski lifts for reasons other than lack of snow (e.g. danger of avalanches, high winds).

5. Obligations in the event of loss/damage (as a supplement to Clause I 4: Obligations in the event of loss/damage)

In order to be able to claim AGA benefits, the person entitled to benefits must inform AGA in writing of the occurrence of the insured event as soon as she/he returns to Switzerland.

III Special provisions relating to the individual service benefits

K Travel Hotline

1. Service benefits The listed service benefits of the AGA Travel Hotline can be accessed by the Insured Person around the clock,

365 days of the year, both before and during the trip.1.1 Travel information AGA Assistance provides the Insured Person with important information prior to departure covering entry

requirements, fees, customs, currencies and health regulations upon request.

1.2 Provision of details on hospitals and doctors as well as lawyers and interpreters/translators abroad AGA Assistance provides its Insured Persons with details of a doctor or hospital or the contact addresses of

lawyers and translators in the region of their stay if required. In cases where communication is a problem, AGA provides the services of an interpreter.

1.3 Advisory service AGA Assistance advises its Insured Person on minor medical problems in their country of travel. The Insured Persons may also consult AGA in the event of everyday problems in their country of travel.

1.4 Notification service If the AGA Assistance call centre organises measures it will notify the Insured Person’s family members and

employer of the situation and the measures taken if necessary.

2. Liability AGA Assistance is not liable for asset losses and health reservations as a result of the Travel Hotline information.

L Cash advance

1. Service benefits If the Insured Person has all his/her cash stolen (incl. the means of paying for the trip) or she/he is robbed on

an insured trip outside his/her country of domicile and so has no other means of obtaining cash, AGA pays a cash advance of CHF 1 200 upon notification by phone.

2. Insured events Theft and robbery (theft with the threat or use of violence).

3. Obligations of the Insured Person3.1 In order to receive a cash advance the Insured Person must ring the following number and fax the accompanying

police report to this number (24 hours and 365 days a year): Phone +41 44 283 34 18/Fax +41 44 283 33 33.

3.2 The Insured Person is obliged to repay the whole cash advance including any transfer fees to AGA Assistance within 30 days of the end of the trip. The Insured Person receives a corresponding invoice from AGA Assistance.

M Help in the event of lost travel documents

1. Service benefits1.1 If the Insured Person loses the documents required for return travel during a trip outside his/her country of

domicile, AGA Assistance helps acquire the requisite replacement documents. The costs and fees incurred for the re-issue of documents are paid by the Insured Person and are not met by AGA Assistance.

1.2 In the event of the loss of the transport ticket required for the return journey AGA Assistance makes an ad-vance (up to the amount of the original return ticket) to procure a replacement ticket.

2. Insured events Theft and robbery (theft with the threat or use of violence) and loss.

3. Obligations of the Insured Person3.1 In order to make a claim for the benefits of AGA Assistance the Insured Person must ring the following number

and fax the accompanying police report, theft report or loss notification to this number (24 hours and 365 days a year): Phone +41 44 283 34 18/Fax +41 44 283 33 33.

3.2 The Insured Person is obliged to repay the whole cash advance to procure a replacement ticket including any transfer fees to AGA Assistance within 30 days of the end of the trip. The Insured Person receives a correspond-ing invoice from AGA Assistance.

N Advance to cover costs in the event of hospitalisation

1. Service benefits If the Insured Person has to be hospitalised or has to have medical treatment during an insured trip outside

his/her country of domicile, AGA Assistance pays an advance of up to CHF 4 500 towards the hospital and/or treatment costs, if necessary. The amount advanced must be repaid to AGA Assistance within 30 days of being discharged from hospital.

2. Obligations of the Insured Person2.1 In order to receive an advance for treatment costs the Insured Person must ring the following number and

fax the corresponding medical report (with diagnosis) to this number (24 hours and 365 days a year): Phone +41 44 283 34 18/Fax +41 44 283 33 33.

2.2 The Insured Person is obliged to repay the whole advance for costs including any transfer fees to AGA Assistance within 30 days of the end of the trip. The Insured Person receives a corresponding invoice from AGA Assistance.

O Advance on costs in the event of criminal prosecution and/or appearances before authorities

1. Service benefits If the Insured Person is arrested or threatened with arrest or has to appear before the authorities during an

insured trip outside his/her country of domicile, the following benefits are paid.1.1 An advance towards the associated legal and interpreting costs up to a maximum of CHF 4 500.

1.2 An advance towards any bail monies demanded by the authorities of up to a maximum of CHF 15 000.

2. Obligations of the Insured Person2.1 In order to receive an advance in accordance with Clause III O 1.1 and III O 1.2, the Insured Person must

ring the following number and fax the associated police report, legal proceedings and/or charge or court/ official documentation to the following number (24 hours and 365 days in the year): Phone +41 44 283 34 18/ Fax +41 44 283 33 33.

2.2 The Insured Person is obliged to repay the whole cash advance pursuant to Clause III O 1.1 or III O 1.2 including any transfer fees to AGA Assistance within 30 days of the end of the trip. The Insured Person receives a corre -

P Return of accompanying dogs and cats

1. Service benefits If the Insured Person is hospitalised during an insured trip outside his/her country of domicile, AGA Assistance

helps with the organisation of the return of accompanying dogs and/or cats, subject to the animal in ques-tion having the correct documentation (animal passport, veterinary certification, etc.) for the (cross-border) transportation and subject to the collection of the animal by a third party being guaranteed at the location to be determined by the Insured Person. The costs and fees incurred for and during the return trip (transport, care/accompaniment, food, etc.) are paid by the Insured Person and are not met by AGA Assistance.

2. Obligations of the Insured Person In order to be able claim the benefits of AGA Assistance, the Insured Person must ring the following number

Q Support in searching for lost luggage

1. Service benefits AGA Assistance helps the Insured Person locate lost luggage and informs him/her on a regular basis of the

current state of the search.

3. Obligations of the Insured Person3.1 In order to receive support in the search for lost luggage the Insured Person must ring the following number

R Concierge service Visa Platinum

1. Service benefits Following a call to Viseca’s Platinum Service Line, AGA will organise concierge services as far as possible, such as

making travel information available, making a table reservation at a restaurant, booking a hire car and order-ing flowers. AGA makes the agreed reservation or order in the client’s name using his/her credit card details. Payment is made by the client to the company providing the service. The services are provided by a company selected by AGA. If this is not possible, AGA will do its best to provide the client with the telephone number of the relevant institution.

2. Fees The costs of the services used are paid by the client based on the valid price list of the company selected by

AGA. All the reservations made by AGA are subject to the General Terms and Conditions of the companies selected by AGA. The Insured Person is directly responsible for paying the companies selected by AGA for all the services provided. The Insured Person is responsible for any cancellation fees or costs for non-appearance that arise from the reservations made in the name of the Insured Person.

3. Liability AGA is not liable for: - Financial losses that arise as the result of a delay or incorrect information or for sub-standard services or

faulty goods of any kind. - Financial losses that arise as a result of inability to contact the corresponding institution. - The non-completion of the service ordered.

4. Services To take advantage of the services of the AGA Concierge service, the Insured Person can ring the following
