MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE DUE Remember we need to have our dues paid before the end of December! We need to know how many members we have so we can pay our club’s insurance with CFMS by the end of the year. So PLEASE get them in as soon as you can. We are including a new membership application with this Ghost sheet, and asking everyone to fill it out. You will see a few new questions on this one so we can get to know more about our members and what you want to get out of the club. Also, sometimes people forget to let us know when they move or change phone numbers, so this will help get us up to date on our paperwork and make sure we can reach you when something changes. Thank you for your help! Jane Henry, Membership

It is getting near the end of the year and we soon will be changing officers. I hope that all of you will give the new officers your support and any new ideas. Our club has always been commended on the friendliness of all our members. In order to continue as a united group, each one of us needs to bring fresh ideas to the table. Some will work and some may not. We can only try. I would like to request that each board member or committee member make a small procedure manual on how they complete their tasks. As you do your job, write down when you need to start your job, what necessary steps need to be followed, your contacts, and if certain things need to be done at a specific time to allow competition, please note that. It is very difficult for the next person doing the job to do his or her best if they have nothing to follow. If you are looking for something to do, speak up. Several members have mentioned, that when they joined the club, they could have used a little more encouragement from some of the members. Let’s make everyone feel welcome, go introduce yourself and tell them what a great club we have. - Anna Christiansen, President
