12.Give the reason.• The Great Indian Bustard (Ardeotis nigriceps) is

a large bird found in India and the adjoining regions of Pakistan. It has a horizontal body and long bare legs, giving it an ostrich like appearance, this bird is among the heaviest of the flying birds. Once common on the dry plains of the Indian subcontinent, as few as 250 individuals were estimated in 2011 to survive and the species is critically endangered.

• When the "national bird" of India was under consideration, the great Indian bustard was a proposed candidate (strongly supported by ornithologist Salim Ali), but dropped in favour of the Indian peafowl for a slightly weird reason.

• Employed by Britain’s Special Operations Executive (during the 2nd World War), Krystyna Skarbek was the most celebrated woman agent and was known as Winston Churchill’s favourite spy. She was a Polish agent and became legendary for her exploits in Nazi-occupied Poland. Once while being interrogated by the Germans she bit her tongue enabling her to cough out blood and convince them to believe she had tuberculosis.

• Though she was awarded an OBE, Skarbek died in poverty stabbed by a man she rejected. It is believed that during the war she met the author of X and he then based a character in X upon her, the character’s name being somewhat similar to her codename at that time.

14.• The myth of Remus and Romulus is believed to have lead to foundation of

a particular city. They were purported to be twins of Rhea Silvia and Mars, the God of War. In the manner of many mythological heroes they were abandoned at birth because of a prophecy that they would overthrow their great uncle Amulius, who had earlier overthrown Silvia’s father Numitor(who ruled Alba Longa). They were abandoned to die in the Tiber river and were saved by a series of miraculous events.

• The river carried them to safety. A she-wolf found them and suckled them until they were taken by a shepherd and his wife. When they grew up they killed Amulius and restored Numitor to his throne. Rather than waiting to inherit Alba Longa they chose to found a new city. Disagreement upon the location of the city caused Romulus to commit fratricide and kill Remus.

• What significance does the myth of Remus and Romulus hold in the world of sports?

Although this tradition might not continue for long as the Bank of Canada has redesigned banknotes the new ones being made of a plastic polymer on which it is harder to draw with a pen. X?

• The name X comes from the herb fennel in Ancient Greek so X literally means "a place full of fennels". It is believed that the town was originally named so because of an abundance of fennel plants in the area.

• X is also the name of a sporting event that comes from the legend of Pheidippides, a Greek soldier who was sent from X to Athens to announce that the Persians had been defeated in the Battle of X.

this myth on Twitter, attracting the sound objections of X. While refuting B.o.B’s dubious scientific claims, he took jibes at the rapper saying, “Being 5 centuries regressed in your reasoning doesn’t mean we all can’t still like your music.”

• Earlier in January he released the song Flatline which further expounds his beliefs and urges listeners to research noted Holocaust denier David Irving. Flatline also finds him worrying about a “cult called science”. The track ends with an extended clip of X discussing oblate spheroids.

20. X, Y and Z?• The song X(by Z), which is often referred to as one of the greatest

rock songs ever made was primarily inspired by the classical poet of Persian literature, Nizami Ganjavi's The Story of X and Y. The book moved Z profoundly, as it was the tale of a young man who fell hopelessly in love with a beautiful, unavailable woman and who went crazy because he could not marry her.

• The song was further inspired by Z's then unrequited love for Pattie Boyd, the wife of his friend and fellow musician George Harrison of The Beatles. Boyd divorced Harrison in 1977 and married Z in 1979 during a concert stop in Tucson, Arizona. Harrison was not bitter about the divorce and attended Z's wedding party with Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney.
