About

Doukas school was founded in 1917 and this year it counts 95 years of continuous operation. It combines excellent educational as well as athletic facilities and is considered to be among the top 5 schools in the country.

Goals

Our school’s ambition is to provide its student s with strong educational skills and to teach them the importance of the educational values. Thus they equip them with the necessary skills in order to be accountable members of the society.

Program In kindergarten we mostly play and learn

new things by this process. In primary school we start the basic

education of modern Greek, mathematics etc.

In Junior high we get a more substantial education and we get ready for Lyceum, where we prepare for our university studies and vocational orientation

As a private school, our school offers us something more than basic education.

INNOVATION

‘’One student, one personal computer’’ Our schools follows, successfully, a one-

to-one process. All students starting from 4th grade of primary school up to the 3rd grade of Jr.High use a computer as their basic tool for learning. In this way the lesson not only gets more interesting and pleasant but it also becomes ‘’helpful’’ for a student since it is more familiar to him and it provides quick information and other useful activities.
