• Increase average attendance by 10 percento Regular Meetings – From 43 to 47 (Goal)• Result – 44.5 (> 3.5%)

o Spouses Night – From 68 to 75 (Goal) • Results – 74.3 (> 9.3%)

• Make every meeting worth attendingo Good programs, informative and fun• Added Trivia, Thought for the Day and Humor

• Promote orders for Kiwanis Shirtso Have samples and order form at meetings

• Took orders Late November, early December

• Took orders again in June

• Plus took special orders throughout the year

• New signage for our Kiwanis Club

o Add larger sign to South city entrance off I-80• Unable to get City/State approval at this time

o Add “Kiwanis Meets Here” sign to front of the Community Center• Should be completed early part of October

Membership:

• Focus on recruiting new members all year long• Seems to be the most successful way to recruit.

• Broaden our diversity by recruiting 4 new female members• Three of the new members are female! 75%

Membership:

• Support Young Professionals by helping to identify a major project for their group• Made arrangements for the Young Professionals to

make presentations on their career with students at the High School. Any interested student was then given a chance to job shadow with the Young Professional. (Minor project)

• Encourage more of the membership to participate in the Young Professional meetings• Young Professionals stopped meeting early in the

fiscal year • Encourage more of the Young Professional

members to participate in the club Service Projects• Had limited participation at our ‘Pancake

Breakfast’ and with our ‘Peanut Days’

• Increase Service Fund revenue by 10 percent (From $20,951 to $22,440)o Advance order/purchase of tickets• Price break was given on advanced ticket sales for

purchase of five tickets for Pancake Breakfast o Review pricing (How do we compare to other groups)• Price was increased on ‘Pork in the Park’ tickets• Price of peanuts remained the same as cost was slightly

less this year

• Increase Service Fund revenue by 10 percent (From $20,951 to $22,440)o Increase advance advertising• Put information in church announcements and/or

bulletins• This was done for the ‘Pancake Breakfast’, the

‘Chicken Fest’ and the ‘Pork in the Park’

• Advertise on Geneseo’s Channel 50• Done for the above three projects• Also advertised ‘Chicken Fest’ and ‘Pork in the Park’

on all area radio and TV stations

Breakfast’ and ‘Pork in the Park’ were advertised as they were grandfathered in at no charge

• Geneseo Chamber of Commerce (New)• ‘Pancake Breakfast’ and ‘Peanut Sales’ were

covered in C of C Newsletter.• Entertainment Guide also listed our events

• How did we do it?• Addition of the ‘Chicken Fest’• Pork in the Park

Service Funds:

• Use new Grant process for determining distribution of Service Funds• Worked very well for first year• Funds distributed to those who we knew

needed/wanted them• 23 Grants Given ($95 to $2,000)

• Distribute Service Funds more evenly throughout the year• Good distribution, but didn’t start until February
