1st Things 1st
• Initiate button– If the Case Member Types do not match, the System will
generate an error message when the user clicks on ‘Initiate’ button: Case Member Types do not match.
– The user will need to go to Case Management - Case Summary - Case Members screen to correct the Case Member Type prior to initiating the referral.

Agent Tab
• Auto-populate email address (far right)• Auto-tab added to Copy Received Date field
– System will send SOG to CP’s DFCS office when results update on $TARS.
Case Members Tab• Refer up to 14 children• Refer children prior to referral being ‘final’.• CP/CU validation• Is this the bio mom? ‘Yes’ ‘No’• ‘Paternity Code at Referral’ column added• ‘DCSS Collection Date’ & ‘DCSS Collection Check Box’ added
– Use only when GA DCSS staff collect the sample, regardless of where the sample was collected (court, local office, etc.).
– IHP log is still required each month until further notice.
• Override added when paternity is already established– Captures User ID, Date, & Reason for Override.– Disestablishment form PDF no longer needed.
NCP/PF Tab
• Changed selections to vertical position– Changed ‘Twin’ to ‘Twin/Brother/1o Degree Relative’
• When updating address on NCP Address screen, the address will automatically update on GT Screen and will be sent to vendor unless the NCP sample collection date is populated or if the Appointment Status is ‘collected’.
CP/CU Tab
• Changed selections to vertical positions– Motherless is 1st on the list
• When updating address on CP address screen, the address will automatically update on GT Screen and will be sent to vendor unless the CP/Child’s sample collection date is populated or if the Appointment Status is ‘collected’.
Mother Tab
• Can add bio mom after referral initiated.• Bio mom is added via the ‘search’ function.• Need all info in red to add bio mom – except address info.
– Update mom’s address before submitting the referral.• Will add bio mom to CRS so that we have an IRN for her• Reasons to add bio mom:
– Judge orders her to be tested– DDC needs her sample– She is tested inadvertently
Comment Tab
• Comments can be sent to the lab at any time until the referral goes to ‘F’ (final).– Please limit comments and be brief. If this is an unusual
referral, please use email or call the lab directly.
Appointment Tab
• Appointment Status– Scheduled– No Show– Cancelled– Collected

Child Detail Screen Enhancements
• NCP Relationship field has been added.– For now, the user will not be able to make changes to
the NCP Relationship codes. These updates will be done by the system only.
• Paternity codes have been added to the ‘Participating Cases’ section
PX & NCP Relationship Codes
• When we get GT results from the vendor on $tars, paternity codes will not change to PX.– Chart on next screen has been added to ERG 326.
