STD caused by Herpes Simplex Virus – Type 1 or 2 Most caused by HSV-2

Herpesviridae family Similar to Hand, Foot and Mouth disease

Break outs of blisters, chancres, and tender ulcers More serious cases affect the eye and central nervous
