Our Lyrics

• They match with the video• Some specific lines match with what is

happening in the video E.g. When it says ‘writings on the wall’ and we write on a wall.

Page 5: Genre

Genre• We wanted to do an experimental genre which wasn’t ‘normal’.• The base genre was ‘indie’ as the use of ‘northern british streets’

influenced us. • However using experimental genre techniques helped us change it from

being a typical indie music video to being a drug influenced, psychotic and crazy music video.

Page 6: Genre

Music

• The song matches the video with its tempo as we used fast paced editing and canted angles.

• The music genre matches the videos genre well (as the questionnaires revealed).

Page 7: Genre

Cinematography• The use of shots we had worked very well to add to the ‘crazy’ genre.• The location also helped with cinematography as we could have basically

shot anywhere within that specific area which would have looked good and kept up with continuity.

• We had a wide range of shots to chose from which looked distorted and make a big impact on the viewers.

Editing

• The editing throughout the video is very fast paced in keeping with the music although there are a few slow motion scenes.

• The editing techniques used varied helping us to get the idea of the chosen genre across to the viewers.
