Important Password Information
Please read the information below on Passwords BEFORE BEGINNING THE ACTIVATION PROCESSES.
Passwords
You will have 3 Passwords that you will need to remember when using the iPad. The set up and use of these passwords will be contained in these activation instructions. Please make sure you are writing these passwords down in order to remember them during the enrollment process.
IDs and Passwords you should know BEFORE beginning this process:
Network ID: This is the ID that you use to log into any Gentiva computer, email and My World. It can either be your first initial, middle initial and the first six of your last name or your Gentiva ID which is the first initial of your first and last name, then the last four digits of your SSN and then your birth date in the form MMDD, such as JS67890214.
Exchange/Network Password: This is the password that you use to log onto your Gentiva computer, email or MyWorld. This password will be needed for activation.
IF YOU DO NOT KNOW YOUR EMAIL/NETWORK PASSWORD. STOP HERE. Go to this link and reset or re-enable your email/network password before going any further. This can be done from ANY computer. Link is: https://myaccess.gentiva.com
IDs and Passwords you will setup during the process and need to remember:
Passcode: This is passcode you will use to log onto the iPad. We recommend that you set up your passcode to match the password you use to log into MyWorld. The iPad will lock after 15 minutes of inactivity and you will be required to enter this passcode to log back in. It does require a special character.
Apple ID and Password: This is the password needed to use to download applications from the Apple App Store on your iPad. You will be required to create a new Apple ID during your enrollment using your Gentiva email address. The password needs to be set up as Password + the last 4 digits of your SSN.
Before you begin:
Please follow the instructions closely in this document to configure your iPad.
Please make sure that the device has a fully charged battery or you have access to a power source before beginning these steps.
Important: NEVER add an iCloud account to the iPad. This will complicate the enrollment process if the iPad is transferred to another employee.
