INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this survey was to obtain samples from a
number of deformed and altered outcrops in close proximity or
within banded iron formations, or located near the metasedi-
mentary-metavoleanic contact, that were located on claim
numbers TB 1194071-74, 1194062-63 and 1195817-18 in Vincent
Township and Clist Lake Area, in the Beardmore-Geraldton
greenstone belt in the District of Thunder Bay (Figure 1). The
survey was conducted December 29-31, 1994 and January 1-3,
1995 and March 4,5,11-16, 1995. At this time the snow condi
tions were minimal, as this past winter was mild. The holders
of the claims are Founder Resources Inc. and Harte Resources
Corporation located at 690 Dog Lake Road Thunder Bay, Ontario
P7B 5E5 and Tenacity Mining Corporation at 132 Robinson Drive,
Thunder Bay, Ontario P7A 6G5.
LOCATION AND ACCESS
The property is located 220 km east-northeast from the
city of Thunder Bay, Ontario along Provincial Highway 11. The
property is accessed from the highway, then by boat or
snowmobile onto Blackwater Lake to Clist Lake. From this
point the claims may be accessed by foot (Figures 2 ft 3).

PREVIOUS WORK
Claims TB 1194071-74 are contiguous with an old leased
claim block called the Dalton claims (Figure 2). Surface work
on the Dalton claims included stripping, trenching, assaying
in the early 1930's, in banded iron formations (assessment
library files). A geological survey was completed on the part
of the property in 1985 by M.W. Carter, OGS Map P. 2854 over
current claim numbers TB 1194071-74, 1195817-18. An airborne
geophysical survey was completed by OGS in 1989, Maps 81339
and 81340. No other work was conducted on these claims.
Geochemical Survey
A total of 247 samples were collected during the survey
and the locations are shown on the accompanying map. Two(iynojWAe. o^A-
hundred of these samples were grab samples taken with K a hammer
and chisel, and the seven samples were also grab samples. The
two hundred samples were analysed by fire assay method and
seven samples by Induced Coupled Activation Plasma (ICAP)
method by Accurassay Laboratories, Thunder Bay, Ontario. The
assay results from these grab samples are incorporated at the
back of the report. Twenty four of the samples were assayed
for zinc and lead, six samples for silver, twenty nine samples
for copper, three samples for nickel, two hundred and one
samples for gold. Seven samples were analysed for twenty
seven elements referred to in the back of this report.

DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
Several gold anomalies were encountered during the
survey. Those samples considered to be anomalous are listed
in Tables 1-8 with grades of 0.03 opt and higher. These
samples represent areas with a potential of hosting gold and
serve to isolate the favourable areas for the next recommendedSeoere^X-•Gvxc. o.rxA co-ferAee^ o.f\o*v\nJ^es i^v*-tYv.tovrrvW*ci ^^vF.TKe s^n^ttince^-r*~~ * ' Oexploration program.* Seven samples were analysed for 27
elements and the anomalous results are listed in Table 9.
Enrichment in elements such as Ag, As, Ba, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg,
Na, Ni, Pb, Si, Ti, V and Zn indicate favourable rocks for
hosting gold and/or base metals.
RECOMMENDED WORK PROGRAM
The results from the program warrant further prospecting,
followed by backhoe stripping, washing, and sampling of
potential zones. The costs of the program are outlined below.
Prospector 20 days at S150.00 per day 3,000.00
Backhoe stripping 8 days at S750.00 per day 6,000.00

Geologist map stripping, sampling with
helper at S400.00 per day 18 days 7,200.00
2,000 samples at SSO/sample (multielement
analyses and other analytical techniques) 6,000.00
Bags, booklets, paper, dynamite 3,000.00
