Why is it?• Geofeedia is a location-based search tool that allows

journalists to aggregate publicly shared social media• Data sources = Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Flickr, and Picasa• Content comes from GPS-enabled smartphone and digital

photos with coordinates embedded in image file• Search area can be as large as a city, as small as a building
