APPENDIX ( geological mapping by Paul Leahy )
CERTIFICATE OF QUALIFICATION
1. IHTRODUCTIOM
The Olsen Township Property, which consists of five unpatented mining claims (55 units)numbered 1197495, 1179314, 1164171, 1214552
and 1214590 inclusive is situated in Olsen Township, northern Ontario approximately 60 km north of Sault Ste. Marie.
The subj ect claim group covers a large shear zone running
southeast that is strongly serricitized and carbonated and that carries quartz veins and disseminated pyrite.
Paul Leahy carried out a mapping survey for Dan Patrie, Yves Desjardins and Bryan Patrie property owners on the Olsen Township property. The property was mapped during the summer of 1996. The following report summarizes the results of previous work , the work carried out during the current programme and the results obtained from that work.
2. SUMMARY and RECOMMEHDATIOHS
Between June and September 1996 a program of mapping survey was completed on a portion of the Olsen Township property. A
total of 22 days was spent mapping by Paul Leahy Geologist. The mapping showed areas of carbonate alteration zones and quartz carbonate and quartz stringers running anomalous gold. Mapping of the property is included in a map in the appendix of this report.
Since there has been no detailed geological work carried out
on the property, the geological interpretation is speculative. It is recommended that the following programme be carried out on the property to complete the evaluation.
1. Completion of the grid lines spaced at 100 metres over the total claim group of the 2 claims of 16 units total.
2. Geological mapping and prospecting of the property to identify zones of mineralization.
3. Completion of the magnetometer, VLF-EM surveys.4. Induced polarization survey.
Following completion of this work and contingent upon the
results then additional work could be considered to further evaluate the economic potential of the property for gold
mine r ali z ati on. Respectfully submitted, Daniel F. PatrieGeology and Geophysics Technologist August 10, 1997

PROPERTY
3.1 CLAIM DESCRIPTION
The property consists of 5 unpatented mining claims (55 units) which are numbered 1197495,1179314,1164171, 1214552 and 1214580 inclusive. Sault Ste Marie Mining Division, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.
3.2 LOCATION AMD ACCESS
The Olsen property is located at 47 47 T N latitude, 82 48 T W
longitude in Olsen township, District of Sault Ste Marie, Sault Ste Marie Mining Division approximately 60 Km north of Sault Ste Marie
to the Chippewa/Harmony River (Chippewa Falls) and continue an additional l Km to the first road on the right. Turn east and follow this logging road approximately 30 Km to a bush road whch
turns left (northwest) approximately 3 Km to the property.
3.3 TOPOGRAPHY AHD VEGETATIOH
The property is hilly, covered by maple and birch forest which gives way to alders and cedar in low areas. There is one creek
which run through the centre of the property with 2 small swamps to the north. Rock outcrops make up approximately 10 S of the property.
4. PREVIOUS WORK
The property has been covered partly with line cutting, magnetometer survey and a small induced polarization survey as of
fall of 1996. In 1979, the Ontario Geological Survey took one lake sediment sample from the property and there is a recorded pyrite
showing near the northeastern edge of the property. (GDIF 131).

5. GEOLOGY
5.1 REGIONAL GEOLOGY
The Olsen Township Property is located in the central portion of the east-northeast trending Batchawa Bay Greenstone Belt.
Predominate lithologies within the belt include Archean mafic to felsic metavolcanics and metasediments with lesser amounts of
gabbro, diorite, granitic rocks and northwest trending diabase dykes (Giblin et al., 1978). Government mapping at a scale of l
inch to 1/4 mile by Armburst, 1965, indicates that the majority of the property area is underlain by mafic to intermediate metavolcanics with lesser amounts of felsic metavolcanics and
diabase.
5.2 PROPERTY GEOLOGY
The property is underlain dominantly by intermediate to mafic metavolcanic rocks which strike east-west and dip vertically.
The property shows a well developed vertical foliation trending 110 degrees with local variations due to cross-structures.
Based on the work done, it is considered that there is one broad zone of deformation and strong carbonate alteration trending east-
west across the central part of the property. Associated with the deformation zones are banded iron formations considered to be
favourable to hold gold mineralization.
page 4
6. CURRENT WORK
6.1 WORK POKE
A program of mapping the olsen property grid on lines spaced
at 100 metres spacing. The work was carried out in June, 1997 till September, 1997 with field supervision of D. Patrie and Yves Desjardins. The survey covered claim 1197495.
7. IHTERPRETATIOH
The property is underlain dominantly by intermediate to mafic
metavolcanic rocks which strike in an east-west direction and dip vertically. The property shows a well developed vertical foliation trending 110 degrees with local variations due to cross structures.
Based on all the ork done to date, it is considered that there is a broad zone of deformation and strong carbonate alteration
trending east-est across the property. Associated with the deformation zones are banded iron formations considered to be
favourable to hold gold mineralization in areas found in the past.
7. COHCLUSIOMS
The property shows considerable merit and should be looked at more carefully for its potential for gold and base metals.
Due to a lack of geological and geophysics information from the property, it is suggested that on-going work should consist of
a programme of geological mapping, and prospecting to ground evaluate the results obtained during this survey. In addition, since the current work only covered one claim, it is proposed that the other claim adjoining to the east be covered by line-cutting, geophysical surveys, geological mapping and prospecting and areas
not covered on grid.
