Two Congruent ObjectsTwo congruent objects-two objects that have the same length, distant and shapeOn e earring would be smaller than the other

Vertical LinesVertical angles- angles that are opposite each other when lines crossI think the put vertical angles in because it makes the dress more interesting to look at

Perpendicular LinesPerpendicular lines- lines that intersect to 90If the lines were not perpendicular, the measure would not be 90

Intersecting LinesIntersecting lines- the points where lines meetIf the lines did not intersect then they would be parallel

Supplementary AnglesSupplementary angles- angles that put together adds up to 180They would not add up to 180

Corresponding AnglesCorresponding angles are created where atransversalcrosses other (usuallyparallel) lines. The corresponding angles are the ones at the same location at eachintersection.

Adjacent Adjacent- having a common side or angle

Obtuse angleObtuse angle- less then 180 but more then 90

Regular polygonRegular polygon- a polygon with all side equal

Vertex AngleThe angle associated with a vertex

Isosceles TriangleIsosceles triangle- a triangle with two equal sides

Right TriangleRight triangle- a triangle with 90 angle

HypotenuseHypotenuse- the lognest side of a right triangle

Pythagoras Pythagoras-the square of the hypotenuse is equal tothe sum of the squares of the other two sides
