Course Descriptions:

A basic goal of Geometry is to expand the understanding of mathematical concepts and to improve logical thinking skills. Students will be presented with concepts, strategies and guidance in order to improve on their own decision making ability. These concepts will be reinforced through exercises in order to gain mastery and provoke critical thinking.

Classroom Rules/Behavioral Expectations:

• Be on time.

• No eating or drinking in the classroom, except water

• Late assignments will not be accepted, one will randomly be collected daily

Page 13: Geometry: Study of shapes Logic Measurements Course Descriptions: A basic goal of Geometry is to expand the understanding of mathematical concepts.

• IF YOU ARE ABSENT

It is your responsibility to get the notes and make-up work complete before test day

If you are absent on test day, you must take the test BEFORE the day of the next chapter test.

Homework and Tests will receive no credit if the absence is unexcused (not cleared with the office)

Classroom Rules/Behavioral Expectations:

I look forward to working with you over the summer. Please keep in mind it is a privilege to take summer school. If you receive two referrals, you will automatically be dropped from the class. Each late counts as one point and each absence counts as two points. If you go over 5 points, you will be dropped from the class and receive no credit.
