1. S8 Pre-TX Topline Dashboard & Summary

• In the period 22 May – 22 July 2014 there were at least 817 media items for Geordie Shore’s eighth series, worth an estimated £4.9m in attributable PR Value (PRV), providing an estimated 849m Opportunities to See (OTS) the coverage.

• In comparison with build-up coverage for previous Geordie Shore series, S8 had its best ever

pre-TX £PRV total - £1m more than for S6. Also, it had the third best volume performance, narrowly behind S4 and S6.

• 80% of Geordie Shore’s coverage came from websites, 16% were traditional print articles and

4% TV & radio clips. • By estimated £PRV, the top print titles were: The Sun (£404k), Heat (£356k), Zoo (£299k), Daily

Star/Sunday (£258k), Now (£247k), Star (£246k), New! (£245k) and Reveal (£110k).

• The top websites by volume included: nowmagazine.co.uk (68), metro.co.uk (35), dailystar.co.uk (33), mirror.co.uk (32), reveal.co.uk (31), dailymail.co.uk (28) and OK.co.uk (27).

£4.9 million pounds of PR value achieved off PR spend of £30,000

S8 Topline Activity Summary: Our main objective was to drive viewers to watch series 8 of Geordie Shore on MTV, 22nd July. This was achieved by supporting existing digital and marketing campaigns ahead of launch. Therefore, we very much focussed on working with available assets and creating our own content. Pre launch • Tweeted personalised images and messages of Geordie Shore 3rd birthday

Geordie Shore Series 8 Trailer • Brand new trailer seeded online

Introducing Aaron and Kyle • A media day introducing 12 journalists to the new boys Geordie Shore House Tour • The first ever media trip for our VIP journalists to the Geordie Shore House – journalists were treated to

themed interviews and dinner with the cast creating the ultimate Geordie Shore experience

Publicity Stills • New publicity stills were shot, with one image placed exclusively in The Sun TV Biz. The remaining images

were then seeded online

S8 Topline Activity Summary Continued: Who’s Had Who Infographic produced exclusively for press • Created a fun infographic showing who’s had who in the Geordie house. This was then seeded to online

outlets with great success Charlotte and Scott Press Day: • Nine interviews set up with Charlotte and Scott for the media who did not attend the house tour

Personalised Press Strategy Calved up press opportunities across our on and offline media outlets with cast including 4 page main heat interview of day of TX with Vicky

Here They Come Sex Faces: • Sex expert Annabelle Knight analysed our casts sex face images • A press release and images were seeded out to the media • Sex face game created and seeded socially to media and celebs. This was hosted on Beamly and MTV.co.uk • The game has had 38,362 page views thus far

This has been the HIGHEST pre-TX PR value achieved for Geordie Shore so far, worth £4.8 million
