OakHill&TheMarthaBerryMuseum The museum tells the story of Martha Berry, founder of the Berry Schools. Tour her homeplace, the expansive gardens surrounding her estate and the Berry College campus. The museum maintains an extensive and fine art collection.

Berry College The world’s largest college campus covers over 26,000 acres in Rome. The campus includes a variety of architectural styles, including a complex of English Gothic buildings gifted by Henry Ford in 1925.

MyrtleHillCemetery Founded in 1857, this six-terraced cemetery has become the burial site for over 20,000 Romans. Myrtle Hill is the final resting place of Ellen Axson Wilson, wife of Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States, the site of the Tomb of America’s Known Soldier of WWI, and numerous other significant individuals.

ChieftainsMuseum/MajorRidgeHome National Trail of Tears Certified Historic Site that dates back to the early 1800s as the home of Major Ridge, a prominent leader of the Cherokee Nation.

Between-the-Rivers Historic District The site of Rome’s founding in 1834, a tour of this district includes pre-Civil War structures; history and homes of many leading Romans; and two of Rome’s most significant landmarks: City Clocktower, a towering structure on one of Rome’s seven hills, and the Capitoline Wolf, a gift to Rome from Italy in 1929.

Cave Spring A quaint village located just outside of Rome, Cave Spring offers many points of interest including a natural spring, shopping opportunities and historical sites.

RomeSymphonyOrchestra The oldest symphony in the South hosts regular concerts throughout the year.

Roman Holiday 45-passenger excursion boat available for charter to experience Rome by way of the three rivers as you learn about the town’s rich history and diverse ecosystem.

Rome Braves Baseball Minor League Class A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves with games from April to September.
