Are you a German-speaking statistician with a strong scientific mindset? Do you have experience and insights into drug development and the health sector, or are you an eager learner when it comes to applying statistical thinking to the real world? We are looking for a talented statistician to support one of our client’s German Health Technology Assessment (HTA) dossiers and related aspects. Contributions may include: Strategic statistical input to client’s HTA dossier planning and interaction with the relevant agencies Insight into and interpretation of data from clinical trials, epidemiological/observational research and other sources; planning input where needed. Definition of appropriate analyses and modellings to support a new medicationing’s positioning with respect to existing treatment options Oversight and/or review of statistical reports and outputs coming from service providers or client internal sources Running statistical models as appropriate What we are looking for: Master’s degree in statistics with related experience, or Ph.D. in Statistics or a closely related field Experience with Health Technology Assessment, Clinical Trials, Epidemiological research, Health Economics are a plus Scientific applied mindset with strong cross-functional skills Team player with strong communication skills and an ability to communicate statistical aspects to non- statisticians Good practical and operational skills Experience using SAS and R is desirable Native or near-native German language competency as well as fluency in English (written and spoken) Results-oriented with good ethics What’s in it for you: You will have the opportunity to play an integral role helping our clients and the industry in making new and better treatment options available to patients You will be part of an exciting new chapter in Cytel’s history with high growth and opportunities to progress within the company Work in an environment designed for an entrepreneurial minded person with a lot of energy, ideas and courage for their implementation Work with and leverage the best and brightest minds in the industry Now Hiring Senior Biostatistician (German Speaking) Visit careers.cytel.com to apply
