Lübeck‘s medieval Old Town was the first entire Old Town ensemble in Germany to be declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 1987. Narrow streets and alleyways, old merchant houses, the world-famous Holsten Gate (pictured at the front cover) and the historical Old Town island with Cathedral, St. Jacob‘s and St. Peter‘s church are only some highlights of this charming place which we will discover during our excursion on Thursday afternoon.Situated a three-minute walk from the historic city centre, the Radisson Blu Senator Hotel provides a perfect location for HairS‘13 with excellent meeting facilities and close access to local transit.

InvitationHairS‘13 will follow the tradition of the DWI-organized hair scientific meetings offering a unique platform for discussing the newest and most appealing ideas of hair research and hair care science. During HairS‘09 at the latest it became evident that findings from modern cell biology are gaining more and more importance in hair science and cosmetics and that there is a chance of inspiration and a need of communication between the so-called “dead hair club” and the “living hair club” as was stated in Weimar.
We cordially invite members from both „communities“ to attend HairS‘13 and look forward to another outstanding scientific meeting of colleagues and hair experts from all over the world.
