The Company not only boasts quality and product conformity

certificates from the worlds most renowned certification bodies,

but has also held UNI EN ISO 9001 certifications for the Companys

production methods and production systems since 1996. In fact,

Gessi represents the extremely rare case of a company that has

been awarded triple certification for quality, safety and environmental

protection.

Gessi brassware items are made by components manufactured in

brass alloy CW617N. This type of brass is matching the most severe

European standards concerning low - percentage of lead, in fulfilling

the criteria of the drinkable -water regulation. The CW617N alloy

contains less than 2,2% of lead, matching the strictest standards on

the matter, such like the German directive DIN 50930 sec. 6.

The Companys total quality concept, rests not merely on adhering

to standards and regulations, but it is rather a shared value and a

central indispensable element that reflects the Companys business

philosophy.

This value setting gives rise to technologically handcrafted objects,

Parts subject to wear (mixer cartridge, open-close head valve, non-return valves, batteries, fil-ters) are guaranteed for a pe-riod of two years, always starting from the date of purchase.

EXTRACTIBLE HANDSHOWER Pull out hand shower provides the greatest freedom of movement.Press the button to switch from the softer aerated flow to the forceful jet spray.The hand shower mixers (single and double jet) are equipped with specially designed components that minimize limestone deposits and also includes a non-return check valve.

SWIVELLING SPOUTAll kitchen mixers offer different spout rotations of 110 , 120 , 170 or total freedom of mo-vement of 360

CARTRIDGESAll mixer contain ceramic disk cartridge and are tested to 70000 opening/closing move-ments, this correspond to 10 years of use by an average family of 4. In the tests performed by Gessi the cartridges failed after 200000 opening and closing movements using me-dium/hard water.A sample hammer test is performed, which consist of the rapid opening of the mixer which exposes the cartridge to a sudden shock cau-sed by the water pressure. The test is classi-fied as a pass when the cartridge still operates when opened at a water pressure of up to 50 bar.

Just Colour

The led colouring changes according to the water temperature; the

glows red when hot water is delivered, blue light for cold water and

violet shade for mixed water.

There are three guiding principles related to the Just Colour

collection:

1. ENERGY SAVING: the water makes its own light through

two hydroelectric turbines. Any electric connection or by battery.

2. ENVIRONMENT AND INNOVATION: The water colouring

points out if you uselessly waste energy, since visually informing

the user about the supplied water temperature will reduce pollution

and increase energy.

3. SAFETY AND PROTECTION: Hot water in pointed out to

avoid burnings.

Just Colour / Just Light Collection is characterized of a patented

technology that gives lighting to the flow of the water without to

use electricity, since the system is activated. When asked for the

provision of water from the tap, the same water coming from the

water system, hot or cold, goes throught a turbine before to come

out from the spout tap,generating electricity needed for working

the lighting led.

CHROME PLATING

A 10 micron thick nickel layer and a 0,3 micron thick chrome layer

are deposited, which is the maximum thickness achievable. This

makes our product above average in the industry, this means

the chrome is brighter and has a longer life. The thickness of the

chrome means no risk of any translucent effect which could show

the underlying brass.

STAINLESS STEEL

A 6 micron nickel layer and a 0,3 micron Finox layer are deposited,

which is the maximum thickness achievable. Again this makes our

product above average in the industry, The stainless steel plating

is in fact similar to steel and longer lasting. The thickness of the

chrome avoids corrosion of the mixer and increases durability.

TECHNICAL PRESCRIPTIONSCERTIFICATES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

1) in order to guarantee a long-lasting performanceof the product we recommend to install angle valves with filter, whichmust be regularly cleaned;2) you should not install the product in presence of water pressure higher than 5 bar: in case of higher pressure, it is recommended to use a pressure reducer;3) water temperature should not be higher than 70C;4) carry out the rinsing of the pipes before installing the tap; 5) regarding the installation follow the assembly instructions enclosed with the product;6) do not connect the earthing of an electric installation to a flexible hose or to another water pipeline;7) close the plant in case of an extended absence of more than twenty-four hours.

MAINTENANCE: INDICATIONS FOR THE CLEANING OF THE GESSI S.p.A. PRODUCTS

The GESSI S.p.A. products are manufactured articles of different materials according to any requirement of the market, design and functionality. The surfaces of the GESSI S.p.A. manufacturing are obtained using the best materials, approved production processes and are constantly checked by updated quality certification methods, considered as follows: A) Water contains limestone in different qualities, which remains kept on the surfaces of the product, leaving deposits after the water has been evaporated. It is possible to prevent the forming of limestone deposits and to keep your product clean by drying it always with a soft cloth immediately after use.

B) DETERGENTS, SOLVENTS, CHEMICAL AGENTS, ABRASIVE SPONGES, WIRE WOOL, ALCOHOL, ETC. SHOULD NOT BE USED as these could irreparably damage products surfaces compromising their aesthetics, brightness and satinizing. CLEAN EXCLUSIVELY WITH WATER AND NEUTRAL SOAP DRYING THEM WITH A SOFT CLOTH. C) Clean regularly the aerator filter after having it disassembled and after having removed the limestone which obstructs the outlets.

D) When using spray soap, splash first on a clean cloth or on a sponge, NEVER directly on the product.

The company has the right to invalidate the warranty when the above mentioned conditions will not be obeyed, checked by a technician of GESSI S.p.A.

The company GESSI S.p.A. can issue only any modifications at this warranty through a proper written declaration. Furthermore, the warranty will not be valid in case of missing documentation which proves the date of purchase.

Possible product damages a/o defects will be replaced under warranty only if the related item of complaint is send back to GESSI S.p.A. in the original packaging including the proof of purchase. The warranty is valid in all the countries, excluded USA and Canada, where the product has been supplied by GESSI S.p.A. or by its authorized distributor. The costs for the assembling and the disassembling of the product, the travelling and the technical interventions by the skilled staff, as well as the burden undergone by the customer due to the indisposition a/o the suspension of the product use are in any case excluded from the warranty. Possible imperfections at the finishing and at the raw materials, are not defects, but features of the product due to the handmade production.

With the dispatch of the order the Customer agrees to all the following conditions. The sale is finalized only after the official confirmation approval of the order by the Company.

The prices indicated in this price list do not include V.A.T. and they are expressed in Euros. The Seller may modify prices,general sales conditions and products (by modifying items and/or finishings or by removing them from this price list) at the Seller discretion without any prior notice.

The delivery terms are to be used as a guide and not a guarantee and so are not binding for the Seller. Consequently any failure to meet them does not constitute any compensation from the Seller, neither justify the Buyer to cancel or delay the agreed payment. In case the Purchaser has not given the necessary exact and correct data to carry out the order, the delivery of the products will take effect only from the receipt of them. The above includes also delays due to natural emergencies, uprisings, strikes, fires and other unexpected events.

The Purchaser is the sole liable for the data he communicated to the Seller concerning the identification of the Purchaser such as Company Title Registered Office Tax payers code VAT Number and whatever requested by the Laws in force. The Purchasers data, according to the Law 675/95 will be kept and elaborated only for the obligations of Law. Any other use must be explicitly accepted by the Purchaser.

The shipment is carried out in the most appropriate way for the Seller. At point of delivery the Buyer is obliged to check the ordered goods and in case of error or damage of the packing he has to report this in the first instance directly to the forwarding agent.

Any complaint and objection has to be communicated by recorded delivery letter within 8 days from the receipt of the goods. It must contain a detailed description of the defect and a picture of the product as a support of the claim, the guarantee and receipt or invoice. In the case of a complaint made within this time the goods can be sent free-port to our warehouse in order to be checked. In the case of defective material caused by the company it will be replaced, but the company will not accept any further responsibility for any direct or indirect consequences due to installation and use.

In the case of a delayed payment, the company reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 8% starting from the day after the expiry date of the invoice without notice. In case of any delay of payment within the agreed terms, the Seller has the right to suspend the supply without prior notice and the orders will be annulled due to Purchasers fault , unless compensation for damage. Delivered goods pending payments will not prejudice the completion of orders in progress. Any delay or payment will not be accepted in case of claims.

The products remain Sellers property until the moment of the complete payment of the price. In case of extended payment, delivered products remain Sellers property until the moment of the complete payment of the price. The Buyer undertakes to respect the Supplier ownership in the widest form in sellers favour. He also undertakes to cooperate with the seller with all the necessary actions to protect the sellers ownership. The seller is authorized to undertake all the actions at ones buyers expenses to oppose to any third person reserve of ownership. The buyer cannot resell, give guarantee to the goods to a third part until the whole payment of price and he must notify with a recorded delivery letter, the executive procedures that, at third persons instance, had hit the goods.
