There are a few important things to consider when choosing a booster. You need a minumum of 16-18 inches of vacuum for the proper operation

of any size booster. No vacuum, No power assist! A larger diaphram will generate more assist given the same amount of vacuum. Adding a second

diaphram will increase assist 25-30%. If it sounds confusing, don’t worry. Our knowledgable staff is a toll free call away: (800) 405-2000 We highly recommend the 11” single delco style booster for 67-72 Cutlass / 442’s. It is the most powerful booster we carry. 64-66 owners should consider the 9” single delco style booster (RPB9021U) for a factory look and plenty of power. If you need more room to clear a big block, or simply want a different look, consider one of our 7” or 8” dual slimline boosters.
