Booting from USB

To get into Boot menu, first reboot and press Esc, F12, F10, F2, Del or other key mentioned on the screen.

Now, save changes, put in the USB with live Ubuntu

and reboot.

All “COMPLICATED” Steps● Backup Data● Download iso of Linux Distribution and Create a live USB● Set to Boot from CD/USB in BIOS● Boot with live USB● Select Live● Launch gparted● Select Windows partition (usually second, larger one)● Resize current Windows Partition to get min. 8GB● Click Apply all operations● Exit gparted and reboot● Boot USB again● Install this time● When Partition disks comes up, select Guided - use the largest continuous free space● Reboot● Select OS to start
